The staff were very helpful to us oldies! They always helped with our carry on sized cases and in Chatham the lady offered an arm as I got down the steps off the train. Happy with the tea trolley service and we enjoyed the chicken Caesar wraps filled with chunky chicken! The 1st train was on time and the second was just 15 mins late. Comfy seats and clean washroom! Now we look forward to our grandson’s graduation tomorrow 🎓

What I did not love is that I arrived early and was hoping to switch to an earlier train, however the VIA Rail customer service helper was not able to because only Budsbud (third party through which I bought the ticket) is able to. However, when I tried calling the number given, I was just on hold and never reached anyone. Additionally I had paid for an option to have flexibility to modify the ticket time, however this should not be an option if I cannot actually access this service.

The personnel was very nice! However, the AC was so extremely powerful that we were freezing. I caught a cold during the 6 hours from Quebec to Ottawa.
