We are very satisfied with the bus ride. The seating was very comfortable, the ride was very smooth. However in addition to bathroom hygiene the bus could take us to better eating establishments, where clean bathrooms are made available.
The coach driver was incredibly rude. The toilets were disgusting and would smell the whole coach out if someone used them. The bus was over 2 hours late.
Generally satisfied but find it unacceptable that passengers told to arrive 30-45 mins before departure, only for the bus itself to arrive 20 minutes late
I understand the traffic and snow affecting travel time so I’m not upset about that. I felt pretty uncomfortable about the lack of Covid measures taken the entire ride though
We waited another 1 hour for a passenger who was late to his stop. The company wouldn’t leave until he boarded the bus. I ended up getting to Banff at 11:00pm. Not happy with that decision to wait till he arrived, nor were the other passengers
The staff were friendly and helpful. The only reason I have given 4 rather than 5 stars is that the bus was 20 minutes late into Vancouver and we had to wait in the rain. This meant that the advice to turn up 45 minutes to half an hour early meant we were waiting around for quite a while. In total I was an hour late to Banff but this was mainly because of road works which the driver's could not have helped.
There was no sign indicating where to board the bus in Vancouver, nor was there a queue or any order for boarding the bus. But the bus company rep came 30 minutes in advance to register all passengers. The bus itself is modern and exceptionally clean with huge windows--truly impressive. It is not crowded so plenty of seats to choose. Two stops on the way to Banff which was nice. The drivers were polite and drive professionally without much jerking. Overall a pleasant experience.
Was fine but I wasn't aware that the main meal stop wasn't until Revelstoke or golden.. maybe tell people that so they can bring sandwiches for lunch because I only had a packets of chips from the gas stations and it isn't very sustainable
Was a relatively good trip, WiFi didn’t work that great but other than that was fine :) bus driver continually checked in to make sure the temperature was okay which I thought was nice
It was disappointing the bus did not leave Vancouver on time, putting us behind schedule all day. However the bus drivers did their best to make up time by only stopping in towns requested rather than every possible stop. I was also impressed their was ample opportunity to stop for breaks/food/toilets - especially toilets considering the toilet on the bus was clogged and had the most disgusting smell. Thankfully the second bus driver made an additional stop in the afternoon to deal with the toilet and help reduce some of the smell
Greyhound cancelled on us the day itself. No email notifications. Nothing. We had to go to the airport book a plane to banff which was 4x the cost and book an extra night for the accommodation.
I am very displeased with Greyhound right now I bought two tickets for Sunday accidentally book the first one wrong for Monday and they would not refund me the ticket pretty pathetic in my opinion
Staff were very rude and disinterested.
I even heard the staff scold customers for standing outside for some air
The bus had no WiFi at all as there was an error code
The bus smelled bad and the aircon was too high so everyone was wearing coats and towels as a blanket.
The driver told us to grab our bags and move at the end of the 14 hour journey
I had a lot of space for my legs. However I would wish the headrests of the seats would offer more support. Seatbelts would be nice as well and two out of three bus drivers did not really reveal how long it would take to get to the next stop and so on. However all of them were friendly and my journey was completed without any problems.
Very disappointed.
I didn't see so much stop while I booked the ticket.
this ticket should transfer in golden station before go to Banff, and I missed it, I have to wait over 9 hours.
I searched internet that someone said that's ok to go to the next bus, but when I asked the Greyhound service, she just want me buy a brand new ticket. I know It might be my responsibility for not waiting the bus outside, BUT the attitude of service still makes me really upset.
