We waited another 1 hour for a passenger who was late to his stop. The company wouldn’t leave until he boarded the bus. I ended up getting to Banff at 11:00pm. Not happy with that decision to wait till he arrived, nor were the other passengers
The staff were friendly and helpful. The only reason I have given 4 rather than 5 stars is that the bus was 20 minutes late into Vancouver and we had to wait in the rain. This meant that the advice to turn up 45 minutes to half an hour early meant we were waiting around for quite a while. In total I was an hour late to Banff but this was mainly because of road works which the driver's could not have helped.
There was no sign indicating where to board the bus in Vancouver, nor was there a queue or any order for boarding the bus. But the bus company rep came 30 minutes in advance to register all passengers. The bus itself is modern and exceptionally clean with huge windows--truly impressive. It is not crowded so plenty of seats to choose. Two stops on the way to Banff which was nice. The drivers were polite and drive professionally without much jerking. Overall a pleasant experience.
Was fine but I wasn't aware that the main meal stop wasn't until Revelstoke or golden.. maybe tell people that so they can bring sandwiches for lunch because I only had a packets of chips from the gas stations and it isn't very sustainable
