It was absolutely terrible. First it arrived about thirty minutes late and there is no information available at the Curitiba station. After about two hours on the road, in the middle of the night, we stop on the side of a road for over an hour, waiting waiting with no idea what is going on and no information. The route is plagued by small town stops that already exacerbate the long journey. That delay ensured we would hit Sao Paulo morning rush hour. We ended up arriving in Rio at 18:00 so the math is pretty easy, about 18 hours. Just business as usual for Penha, as this same bus was late the year before arriving close to 16:00. I will never ride with Penha again unless there is really no choice.

Great, the bus was very clean and very safe. The driver was very polite and never put us in danger. Only thing, we didn’t have WiFi but everything else was perfect.
