Bus Mexico City to Acapulco: Trip Overview
Compare bus companies
Customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the luxury bus experience provided by Diamante. Issues include limited refreshments, broken coffee machine in the lobby, noisy and broken chairs on the bus, and obnoxious guests. However, there are also positive reviews mentioning an excellent overall experience. Some customers suggest that it would be nice if English-speaking staff were available.
Diamante Mexico City Acapulco recent customer reviews
We choose Diamante because of the luxury bus experience. This one was below standards. Refreshments were limited to 2 choices, coffee machine in lobby was broken, chairs on bus noisily rattled and leg recliner was broken. Guests on bus were loud and obnoxious, lifting feet onto my chair which resulted in my head being kicked twice before I smacked their feet off. I know that Diamante had no control over this, but it would have been not as hard if my chair wasn't broken and could at least have rested on the trip.
Me gustaría que sus asientos la parte donde pone uno los pies, fuera más arriba porque se siente muy abajo para poner los pies y acostar el asiento
Very comfortable bus with nice amenities - only issue was lack of USB charging facilities on bus even though their information said their buses had these. However, even with this one issue, I was very impressed with their service and would highly recommend them to others.
According to customer reviews, the service provided by this bus company has received positive feedback. Customers appreciate the excellent service and punctuality. Some customers mention that they had a good experience with friendly staff at Mexico City, easy baggage check-in, and comfortable waiting rooms. However, there were occasional delays due to roadblocks or frequent stops during the 5-hour trip from Mexico City to Acapulco. Overall, customers are satisfied with the quality of service and would use it again in the future.

Maybe the arrival time to Acapulco was listed wrong. I don’t know if it was really late. Everything else was fine; except traveling with my service animals was difficult. I’ll know what to do next time.
Staff at mexico city were great, simple to book bags in, waited in lovely waiting room with complimentary drinks . Boarding was good , driver was very professional. Only late because of a demonstration blocking road. Really good journey
