Staff cursed (F-bombs) in front of me multiple times to other staff. They were kind to me though so it made up for the unprofessionalism I guess. Was supposed to have a 45min layover from 6:15-7:00PM. The bus driver didn't arrive at the station until after 10PM and had to be flown in for our drive. When people inquired about the status of the bus driver...the staff member screamed and asked people to be escorted out. The same woman helped me get my bag from the bus nicely though.
I had a flight out of San Francisco at 12:55AM. Luckily it was cancelled or I would have totally missed it. The bus itself was fine, but my only seat charging plug didn't work.
Overall, I don't usually care to write reviews, especially not negative ones. However, this was really just an unfortunately negative experience and I'd like to help other people avoid it if possible.
Sits not comfortable ,not possible any more to stay at G. station after 12.

Scheduling was off time wise I had one time, driver had different time. Bus was dirty with trash inside
I prefer Flixbus (cheaper, cleaner, friendlier, more efficient than Greyhound)
Bus was overbooked. I didn’t get in. I spent 5 more hours in Reno trying to find a way to get SF. Awful experience

The Station was a dirty dump with beautiful architecture and staff were rude, ignorant, non helpful, lazy and told me lies.
I was also refused the sale of a bottle of water and told the shop was closed which clearly the female was standing behind the counter when she told me.
15 minutes later when another female staff member appeared I told her what had happened and she duly served me the bottle of water with the same person that refused me the sale still behind the counter.
I was also made wait 8 hours for the next bus when clearly there were people behind me in the queue that boarded the earlier bus.
Again it was the same staff member that did not sell me the early ticket.
I was only after getting in to San Francisco on a plane from Manchester in the U.K..

We had construction on Hwy80 so that's why we were late. I still made my connection. Good Driver and a very nice bus.
Really dissapointing. Would never book again. Bus was 2 hours late for us, but there were people in the station who had been waiting over 6 hours. The staff at the greyhouse terminal made no effort to communicate what was happening or give any updates to the problem of the bus while it sat outside the station.
First time using a bus in the US and the bus driver out of renk was extremely irritable. She yelled at a young girl who was skipping around with a doll and when everyone looked dissatisfied with her response to that, she proceeded to mumble to herself how she hated her job. And that we were trash.
Very disappointed to start my trip with an angry driver

We were inspired by the hard working, kind, and competent staff in Reno and the driver of the bus. We will seek out Greyhound again.
Clean buses, professional drivers
It was my first trip but not my last. The drivers were VERY good. The buses are clean even by Swiss standards, and they are comfortable.
Staff was a bit rude. Bus was dirty. BUT I travelled from Reno to San Francisco with all my stuff for 20 dollars, so I'm satisfied.
Cheap is good !
I'll take greyhound bus again.
