Destination Western Canada
A great way to use Cold Shot is as a route extension. For international travellers or non-locals, travelling in a country as large as Canada could be daunting. One thing to remember is that flying over Canada won't provide the same experience as driving. The natural beauty of the country is much easier to experience on the ground than in the air. This is all the more true for beautiful Alberta and British Columbia.
If a person flew into the Calgary airport and wanted a taste of the Canadian wilderness, a trip to Dawson Creek would do the trick. There are a few local attractions which include an art gallery and pioneer village. This part of British Columbia is for those who love the great outdoors. It is a place away from the hustle and bustle of city life. A ride with us is the best way to get there and still see Canada.
ㅤ

It was so bad we got off the bus at the first stop and went to catch the red arrow bus instead. Unbearable. Cramped, crowded bus, squashed side by side. Super hot, no air conditioning, no open windows. Never again.
The driver asked for directions to the centex station and stopped in the middle of memorial drive while asking a passenger to open up google maps on his personal cell phone.
the exterior of the bus was very dirty. The pick-up location felt unsafe. No assistance was offered to get bags out of rear of bus. I am 78 and was almost crushed by a large suitcase falling out when I tried to retrieve mine.
I am quite satisfied with Cold Shot. I was hesitant at first because there was no bathroom. However, the bus did adequate stops to have a washroom break when needed. Fast commute and drivers were good.
I pay to get there safely and for a good price can't complain about that. None of the wifis on the busses worked but no matter I hotspot myself. The Calgary to Edmonton bus was packed full and there's no much direction on where luggage goes until the driver comes out so take care of your luggage and maybe help people with less mobility out. Some people are outright rude. The second bus to GP the USBs were all broken and no 12volt charger. The driver offered some at front. Did take advantage of that. Overall not a bad ride.
There was a passenger on the bus that was clearly intoxicated, and became aggressive and abusive to the other passengers boarding the bus. The bus driver didn’t do anything or say anything even though he could hear how loud and abusive that passenger was being and even though a lot of passengers complained. The driver still did nothing. The other passengers had to take matters into their own hands and call 911 and the abusive passenger was removed by the peace officers at Red deer.
I had the middle back seat so it was hard for me to get comfortable and when I did the driver would speed up and then slow down. If I were to have a window seat though the ride would be much more enjoyable
Cold Shot was a decently priced bus. The bus driver was helpful in providing instructions on options for one to disembark from the bus at a location closer to their final destination, and not necessarily getting off at the station marked on the ticket book. This flexibility is very helpful. There limited leg room but that is overall tolerable for a 3 hour trip.
The service from the driver was not good enough. We were delayed due to poor preparation of the driver to fix the issue with the bus, hence the avoidable delay.
I like the fact that we do not have to squeeze together given the condition that s just gone (COVID)The staff communicated very well, although I was waiting at the bus stand for the staff to turn up which got me worried
First time taking Cold Shot. It was smooth quiet trip but not comfortable enough to nap or stretch as space was tight. The windows could use some cleaning.
Not worth the 86.73 I paid for it such a shame but the lady at the front desk was amazing an extremely helpful wish all of there employees were as great as her
Extremely displeased with Cold Shot after my trip.
My traveling box got damaged with dents to the frame & multiple rips on both the fabric & the plastic covering metal frame peices.
The driver was so kind and helpful. My daughter and I were stranded because of WestJet. We had no idea where we were going. The driver helped us with the proper instructions and helped us get home.
I booked my ticket, however I was not allowed on the bus. Even though I had purchased my ticket I wasn't allowed to board the bus because I didn't have I'd. I explained that I didn't have I'd because I was robbed. I showed up with plenty of time to spare but when it came time for the bus to leave I was told that I could not board the bus as well as I did not get reimbursed.
Since the buses do not have bathrooms, breaks are in the itinerary, particularly for longer trips. Travellers should not expect to access bathrooms at will. Customers should plan accordingly, by taking advantage of our terminals for departure and arrival where possible.
