Horrible. The bus was 3 hours later. The communication was only sent 2h 30 min that the bus is late. This was unacceptable. This is the second I experience such service

Very bad experience busses breaking down several times in one trip. Getting to the destination 5hours later than schedule to your destination is trully unexceptable and extremely unsafe!

The bus was not like the regular buses travelled. It was small and did not look roadworthy to do a national trip. In addition commuters were allowed to buy cash tickets on the spot who were intimidating those who had purchased tickets already, there was congestion confusion and made commuters irritate with each other. There were commuters consuming alcohol and no supervision or direction by driver of the chaos. Bags had no tickets so other commuters were pushing out bags to accommodate their own bags. Finally for my mums (74 years) safety, she aborted the trip. Very disappointed

First trip departure time was ok but as the journey progressed, the schedule became later and later. The arrival time was meant to be 14.35 but only arrived at 16.15. The return trip was a disaster from the start. The first bus I was put on was overbooked and I was shifted to a second bus. I don't think I was meant to be on that bus as it was going as far as Newcastle and I heard the bus conductor explain to the driver which way to go to Ladysmith. On arrival in Ladysmith the conductor was not on the bus and the driver did not know where the terminus was. With help from other passengers, we found a place to stop in town and contacted my husband who was waiting at the correct terminal and by this time it was 3 hours late. The bus conductor was not very friendly or helpful

Citiliner Plus Ladysmith Midrand recent customer reviews
Overall good, overbooking of trips ending up not having enough seats for passengers was the only downside but overall good.

The bus was late and the there was only one message sent at eleven. We waited for the busy and never arrived. When we called the bus with other passengers we were then told that the bus has already left and it’s in harrismith while we were at the garage the whole time waiting for the bus. We believe that this is not true. Thanks
