The trip was ok I was just inconvenienced because the bus was meant to arrive at 5:45 in the morning but instead it arrived 3:15 and I have made arrangements for my ride to collect me by the Durban bus station at 6am but I had to stay there from 3:15 to 6 am , was really worried about my safety and it was very cold
I do understand that traffic I see unpredictable and there’s factors that affect traffic flow but I don’t understand how a trip can’t have a two hours delay. And the many stops are not really necessary if no one is getting off
Bus driver was pleasant and drove well and got us all safely to our destination, although we ran late. The toilet on the bus was not clean and bus was smelly on occasion due to people using it for more than urination which the driver rightly complained about.
Please pick up the phone when we call. We missed a bus because on the ticket we booked online we got Shell ultra city stop and not Engen, we waited for 30 minutes a bus never came we went to Engen garage only to be told bus left 5 minutes ago. All the 30 minues we were calling apm call centre to confirm if we are on the right stop and no one picked up. I had to chase a bus to Johannesburg park station, never driven there before and it was almost 10pm with a baby. Never have i been this scared, I got lost trying to go back to Midrand wheew yesterday night was an a scary scary experience for me. I believe could have been avoided if call center answered the phone and told us to wait at Engen instead.
I am very disappointed at Eldi coaches, today was my second time travelling with them. Maybe it's best they look up to the intercape buses how clean, neat and peaceful their buses are. I regret strongly taking Eldo Coaches.
Moved from midrand at 6 at git to park Station at 6:30 and had to stay there for an hour before we could move to the next stop which was vereenig, I just think communicating with passengers regard the trip and stops is necessary
