MapleBus receives praise for its spacious seating and smooth rides, with friendly drivers contributing to a generally positive experience. However, some passengers have noted issues such as unclear communication regarding stops, restrictions on outside food without alternatives provided onboard, and occasional confusion about pick-up locations or drop-off points not being precise.
The bus driver was very friendly and polite. The bus was small and one of the front windows had a bit of a leak (was raining), however it was clean, ticket was very affordable and seats were really comfortable. No drinks or snacks on the bus however the driver was kind enough to let me leave my snack & reusable water bottle in my carry on. Was offered a bathroom/stretch break which was nice. The only issue I had was the person in the seat in front of me reclined so far back and the top of his seat was very close to me- maplebus should consider limiting how far back the seats can recline. Overall I would recommend this bus to others and use it again!

It was goodish. The driver was friendly and seat was comfy. Just shocked that no outside food or drink is allowed, yet they have nothing to offer on the bus…I had to throw away a full smoothie before I got on. They had some random beans for sale and processed cookies. Inconvenient as I have a child with me and the ride is long to not have her be able to eat a snack. The tickets were the same price as the train or any other bus so probably wouldn’t use this company again.

The ‘bus’ was cold and we didn’t stop for a bathroom break until close to 3 hours in. I asked to use the bathroom quickly when we stopped in Kingston to pick more people up and the driver said no, but stopped in napanee for a break even tho no one was getting off or on.
