They dropped me off at the wrong destination. Supposed to be union station and instead was taken to the airport. Didn’t have arrangements to travel from airport so last minute had to figure a new ride out. Very disappointed.
Driver was unbelievably courteous and went out of his way to accomodate anything we needed while creating a sense of safety and security. (It was about 10:20pm). Having a sense of safety and security is paramount when traveling alone as a woman at night.
Continuously asked if we were ok or needed any thing.
Super efficient and safe driver. Very kind and friendly which added even more to the positive experience.
5 star service. The bus was very clean and comfortable. The driver, Harvey, went above and beyond expectations. His driving skills and experience rescued his passengers from a potentially very uncomfortable situation. No one wants to be stuck on a highway overnight, stranded on the side of the road, or left to find ones way home with no city buses, subways, cabs. Especially a senior with health problems!
Snaps to ONEX and Harvey.
The bus broke down half way at Toronto airport and did not make it to union station in Toronto. I got off where we broke down, went to the airport and took the Up Train Express to union station as the bus had issues with the breaks. Very disappointing trip home after the holidays.
Excellent service. I felt Ill and the bus driver waited while I went to the airport station washroom. He was so kind. Not cranky for the delay. I gave him a tip which he tried to refuse. I insisted. I was so grateful for his kindness
It was good, comfortable chairs. Just one thing, Kitchener bus stop is very far from counter and my confirmation email says I can print the ticket at the counter however it is in totally different location. Luckily I have nice bus driver who accepts me and helped me get ticket at another stop but if the counter and bus stop be closer would be good
When going to Toronto for a few days, taking the Greyhound is the only way to go... leave the driving to someone else. Not to mention the cost for a Greyhound is a lot less than driving and then paying to park.
Great service. However, I think the driver should announce the stops... not everyone knows the route and where they're expected to get off the bus. One passenger missed their stop as it wasn't announced.
Our driver was very pleasant and personable. Most drivers make their initial announcement (before take off) via the bus' loudspeaker, which is of course perfectly fine, but I liked the fact that this driver gave the information facing us travellers and without the mike. We got to Toronto on time which was amazing considering we travelled mid-afternoon on a Tuesday.
Overall the trip was okay. The Buffalo NY portion could be improved. Every time I have travelled using Greyhound the Buffalo portion has been chaotic. I thought by now it would have improved hence using greyhound instead of flying this time but it was the same chaos and not very friendly staff. Kitchener/Toronto/Buffalo. No concerns. I’m hoping for a better experience going home tonight from NY- Buffalo-Toronto-to KW. Also too long a layover from TO to KW.
The bus was quite late arriving at Sportsworld in Kitchener. This made for a late arrival in Toronto. It was very stressful to think that the bus might not arrive at Sportsworld at all. The people waiting for the arrival in Toronto were also worried and inconvenienced by the late arrival.
