Many users appreciated the friendly and professional staff, clean buses, and smooth rides provided by Intercape. The drivers were praised for their professionalism and helpfulness in explaining protocols to passengers. However, some reviews mentioned issues such as delays due to multiple stops or traffic, uncomfortable seating conditions like wet seats or non-functional recliners, strong odors from the toilet facilities affecting comfort levels during travel. Despite these concerns about timing and minor maintenance issues with air conditioning or charging ports not working properly at times; overall experiences remained positive among travelers who enjoyed safe journeys on this reliable service provider's fleet of well-maintained vehicles across various routes offered throughout South Africa’s major cities including Johannesburg (JHB) & Durban (DBN).
I have enjoyed the trip, your stuff was very friendly and tried their best to make us feel welcome, a gentle gave us few tips before we left JHB the dose and don'ts🤭 but in all honesty friendly.
The only challenge is recliner chairs that don't work, charging ports that need to be replaced, the air-conditioning really needs to be fixed, other than that, we had a safe journey.

I was only satisfied that the bus was on time and gave us enough time for our break at Montrose. However the charging points weren't working 😕. I was sitting on top & there was no water to wash hands in the toilet. The taps were working.

The trip was OK but the passenger that sat next to me removed his shoes and the lower deck of the bus was smelling of feet odor. The air-conditioning was not working making it uncomfortable

It was the worse experience ever, the bus was late to pick us up, it was extremely hot as the aircon was not working the seat belt message kept going on, the bus had a bad smell, to top it all of we were 2 hours late on drop off, as the ticket said we would arrive at 5:35am however we arrived far after 7am, I missed a very important appointment. I am extremely dissatisfied. We did not even have a proper bathroom break on an almost 12 hour trip.
