I was very disappointed in the service, the bus had no heater it was cold as a fridge, it arrived very late my departure time was 8 and the bus arrived 2 hours later I am never traveling with Eldo again very terrible service
Dissatisfied, there were no apologies, nobody said a word to us, the next minute I saw peoole running to catch the bus far outsideJHB Park station I ran too, it was a disorder.
Poor customer service. The bus was more than 2 hours late and no one came to say anything to us. We kept waiting in line and none of the workers were at sight. We had to take another bus that was hired but it could only take a certain number of people. Worst bus experience ever.
I had a great trip this time, last time I had a problem with cold Aircon however this time around the Aircon was warm.
I was able to sleep.
Keep up the good work guys.
I'm very disappointed about the bus service. It was my first and last time using Eldo coaches. The bus was supposed to leave Jhb at 9am but it ended up leaving at 12:30pm i was so frustrated
Greyhound is one of the best buses but there is no order at the station we are all standing in one queue with people that were boarding other buses and all buses were an hour 30 minutes late. No one was willing to explain to passangers and we had to load our own bags with no stickers and also offload them ourselves when we got to Durban
Have been using Eldo Coaches for some time now but for the last 3 trips on once was satisfied. The bus is always late the passengers are not told what’s happening. One trip the bus had a brake down when I asked the driver he started fighting with me.
Good morning,
To whom it may concern, I booked both my children on a trip to Durban as a lovely experience for a holiday but, it was a nightmare.
They boarded the bus 909 on Monday 27 June 2022 at 23:00. None of the staff was friendly or barely greeted us and then my children gets on the bus and they are not allowed to sit with each other.
After we phoned the call center to ask for assistance the lady was very reluctant to help us and then we asked if she could communicate to the bus driver as we know she can - she wouldn't.
The children asked the bus driver to help them sit with each other as it was their first time to travel on bus and some passengers would not even talk to them but, he said no they must just sit.
We even used the 24 hour WhatsApp communication to ask for assistance, there was a lovely lady that tried to assist but, the driver Samuel told her that the bus was at full capacity but, this was not true as there where people that were one person sleeping, laying down on a two seater. So once again no assistance and all we asked for is for the two children to sit together.
Once in Pietermaritzburg the bus broke down and they had to transfer to a different bus and to make things worst their tickets stipulated that their drop off point is at OR Tambo Parade (Opposite the Tropicana Hotel) as per online booking and their tickets but, this bus driver dropped them off at Jelf Taylor Cres. telling them it is the last stop. Leaving both children stranded and scared not knowing what to do.
The staff is not willing to assist or make it a comfortable experience and I am very disappointed in how Intercape employees treat their passengers.
Maybe it is a good idea to assign numbers to the seats and let us as passengers book per seat as in airplanes to eliminate these concerns in the future and their staff to have compassion for their passengers.
Sincerely,
Jeanine
Please notify your customers early if your buses are late. At Montrose the bus parked for about 2 hours because it had many problems. The bus was not in a good condition at all.
The bus was 3 hours late, there was no heater we were freezing inside the bus and there was no toilet. No one bothered to update us why the bus was late nor communicate with us
I hate Eldo coaches I'm never choosing it ever again!!! It's one of the worst buses I've ever used even Eagle Liner is better that Eldo coaches at least even if they are late the trip or arrival is better and on time
The bus was driver bumped a small car at Newcastle then we had to wait hours while they sorting the matters at the police station, the staff didn't even informed us about the matter and apologise.
Then at Escort the bus broke down, terrible experience for my first time traveling.
Please service your buses and teach your staff customer service and to communicate with us clients.
They were the worst bus ride ever the driver stopped for no reason and then he also stopped to get other passengers who were not part of eldo Coaches so the ride had zero positives
As a 70 year old I was traveling alone. I got stranded for transport to go home because of the arrival of the bus in Durban which was 2 hours late. It's arrived 2 hours late at Park Station
I had the most horrendous experience with Vilamora and there was total confusion around bookings and we had to spend 2 days trying to get home in airports and bus stations and finally found a b&b that was equally as disgusting.
I'm so happy citiliner is back. Our bus arrived on time but left late. This is not how citiliner used to do business. But ever since they are working with eldos, there's alway a problem with departure time. Overall, Im happy with citiliner,
This was my third time(will be last) traveling with vilamora, my first 2 experiences were the best j won't lie. Everything was good but this time around NO!!! the bus was late by an hour. We were scheduled to arrive at 4pm in Durban (as passengers, we pick certain schedules for a reason) but arrived at Durban station only 6pm. The bus seats were very dirty, the top part of the bus was broken, the flooring was shaking and air was coming, the bus had a constant sound as if something is loose when in motion and worse when it's turning. it's like y'all guys think we desperate and we'll pick y'all cz it's cheap. My advise is. Not all of us pick services/brands cz of the price, we pick them to show loyalty and also pick them for liability, meeting standards. Please be consistent in good services and please throw away that shack y'all call a bus
The bus was cold as ice I did even manage to sleep because my feet were cold even though I wore socks and sleepers I even had a blanket but still I felt cold it was like the bus door and all the windows we’re open
One of the drivers was rude. Instead of helping me unfasten seat belt do it could buckle nicely he hung it over me. When I asked if that not be fixed he said I shouldn’t tell him what to do. On another occasion the same driver was yelling at one of the customers who could not come back to the bus on time because she was still waiting for her order.
It was cold.. driver put cold air for us and heater for himself. Not fair if he wanted to stay awake he should have done it the other way round.. it was really cold and unfair that he was warm
