I didn't enjoy to sit with two (2) people extra in 2 people seat (we were three (3) people sitting while it was supposed to be two (2) people in a seat) from DBN to JHB.

The Bus from Joburg was clean and there were plastic bags to put waste. We left Joburg Station at 09:30 and arrived at Durban between 8 and 9 in the evening. The returning Bus for 10:30am was worse. It was dirty. At the station it left more than an hour late. The bus could not start. We were moved to the next bus. It was moving painfully slowly. As we past Majuba it was packed at Voksrust, there was a problem with a wiper. We had to wait for the mechanic I don't know for how long because we were tired. We only arrived at Park Station after 1am, yes in the morning. I had a bad experience.

I got so disappointed by staff in Durban station male and female Indian /Mixed colour were not updating the passengers what happened as buses delayed for 8,9and 10 instead they were running.Bus came @10:30 failed to control the crowd. Your bus seats 25,26 and behind it was wet from rain then driver and inspector in Pinetown tried to force passenger to sit on lucky she managed to refuse then the driver also was not willing to explain his route in polite manner in Montrose he got in and out when passenger standing to go out he said his bus doesn't stop in Montrose why he got in from first time? Someone asked to jump off by engen garage midrand he said he can't. Can I share video I took as the rain was drips in the seat?

My son was on the bus. Firstly bus left station over 1hour late, and there was situation between driver and few passenger's. I always send my son alone and very scary to know that he was put in that situation. I do understand that things happen and do not blame any1 just please ensure in future that not all passengers get affected because of a few rude passengers and the driver deals with the rude ones without making others feel scared. Time of bus late is because of school reopening so yes i understand but please better planning thanks. Appreciate the services and always have pleasant experience.

Bus broke down 50km into the trip. Had to sit without Aircon on the side of the highway waiting 3 hours for a different bus to come. Replacement bus didn't have the same amenities as what was paid for, most notably charging ports. Total trip ended up being 4 hours longer than expected
Passengers generally appreciated the comfortable seating, friendly staff, and timely departures. Cleanliness was a highlight with clean buses and toilets frequently mentioned. However, some reviews noted issues such as roach infestations, inconsistent communication about delays or bus conditions like power outages or excessive speed during trips. Overall experiences were positive despite these concerns.

Firstly I booked a Big sky Bus but ended up in a Intercape bus and the driver didn't know how to switch off the lights until and hour of driving.. and when he figured out how to switch off the light's, the television was on playing random videos without anything sound.. if I was supposed to connect somewhere I didn't know and anyways people use ear pods now. The bus stopped in a garage in the middle of nowhere so we couldn't find anything suitable to eat.. what happened to the old fashioned Montrose. When I asked the driver to switch off the Television so we can try catch some sleep he said it's being controlled by management in the office.. some ridiculous story like that. If I wanted an Intercape bus I would have booked one.. but I'm really disappointed at Big Sky. I had a horrible experience in Intercape Bus 804 from Durban to Johannesburg on the 3rd of August 2025
