The bus left 30mins late, it was VERY slow on the road (way under the normal speed rate) and it arrived 1h30mins late with no explanation and no apologies.
I got to the bus station almost ten minutes before 21h00 did my luggage check in and proceed to the almost 5 minutes before 21pm and bus just left me i even bang on the body but the driver speed off, luckily the staff member who did my check in was a witness in to the incident and had to speak to the next bus to let me in as i was flying out of the country on Friday around 08H30 am otherwise i was going to miss my flight
I’m so disappointed at the fact that the bus had issues and because of the breakdown we had to wait for a mechanic which was from another town. The safety was my number one issue. Another thing I stay in Carletonville, so from Johannesburg I needed to take taxi which would take me 50 min to get home. I couldn’t get home because taxis where finished at 20:10,that led to me booking myself a room, after all the expenses .. However, I’m grateful for arriving safely.
Had a very good journey. The bus was late arriving in Johannesburg but no fault of the driver. There were a lot of roadworks which caused traffic backup
The only thing that annoyed me was the bus didn't go into the station. He parked outside and i had a heavy bag in an unfamiliar place and it was a longer walk to get to where I was being picked up
I was really not Satisfied, firstly, a bus from Citiliner showed up instead of eldo Coaches, only to find out the bus was not serviced, so as passengers we had to wait for another bus in the Middle of nowhere
It was my first time using intercity xpress and I would never use it again, seats were broken, charging port were not working, it came late plus the drive was very slow on the road we arrived 2hours later
I'm so disappointed my husband he going to sleep at park station because bus stuck at metros and even now is still on the way no taxin now and he was suppose to work tonight but he couldn't 😳
Worst experience ever, I don't think I will use it again because they let me down again after giving them a 2nd chance. Some time in 2019 the bus broke down on our way to joburg at 11pm and we had to spend the night in mooiriver. Only got to joburg midday the following day, had to miss work.
No help from all staff at Durban Station. We were not advised that the bus was going via Vereeniging. My son in Vereniging due to the driver closing the door and leaving him standing outside even though he could be seen banging on the door to get the driver to open for him.
The bus truly speaks for it’s value. I was so dissatisfied with the smell of urine on the chairs and the chairs aren’t very comfortable. The staff is good and the bus was punctual.
Never recommending the bus service to anyone I know been stuck on the road since 11am and no assistant buses keep breaking down and to make matters worse I'm currently Pregnant and cold
I don't know if I ever want to book with Intercape. We were supposed to arrive at 19:05 but we only arrived @23:08 and what angers me is that this was done deliberately. Intercape is incompetent and unreliable.
The bus left more than 2 hours late. Had mechanical problems on the way was driving very slow. Arrived in Joburg after 10pm for a bus that was suppose to live Dbn @ 11am. Was stranded at Joburg
