Yes the bus arrived 15 mins at the Jhb bus station. There was an accident on the way and we had to wait 2hrs for the police to clear the road and this is not Greyhounds fault.
The bus was very comfortable, I give it 10 star for comfort. It was such a nice experience and yes Greyhound is still the best like it always has been.
Bus facility not clean, staff at station charged R120 for a trolley to take suitcases not even 500meters to door, where trolleys could not pass, then I was charged R100 per bag to wrap it in cling wrap. I had 3 bags. Had spent R420 before even leaving the station, and that excluding the bus tickets
The seats are comfortable, it is indeed a sleepliner but our bus did not have a glass on the emergency exit door there was a box which came out just after we left JHB, i was seating in seat 3 right up, the air was coming in and we had to wait for another bus in kroonvaal which led into more delay but otherwise the stuff is friendly
There was a passenger who forgot to take their luggage and we had to return back for that. What is that all about. Just disgusted. Previously my niece got to her station and did not find her bag because someone else got out with it. The bag was returned after 2 months, after I had to fight tracking where the bag was and finally it was sent to the address via courier.
The toilet was over flowing so we could not use the toilet and the driver did not stop for us to get to a bathroom. Not one of the phone charges were working
The drivers opened an eco all the way from Johannesburg, We complained and got tired because the refused to lower it, I am even having a fever because of that
The driver drove well however we had delays due to luggage being a lot and we went to the bus parking to load the trailer. That caused unnecessary delays.
A comfortable for the expected trip but it was so cold and I wasn't allowed to get a blanket or a jacket at one of the stops even when my bag was the closest to the door. I got pneumonia due to this.
I was supposed to report at work in the morning but I couldn’t because the bus was late from GHB and after that the tyre burst outside Bloemfontein, to get helped it took us more than two hours so am very disappointed
We left the bus station 30 minutes after the supposed time to depart and we stopped outside the bus station for close to an hour transferring from the intercity Xpress bus to some unregistered and or beaded bus that has no toilet, charging points, and have sits that do not seem to cater for long distance travels. I felt very much unsafe.
Intercape are the best buses but they should always check their buses before they begin on another trip. Our bus stucked for 2-3 hours at vereeneging, which resulted on us arriving late at PE.
I will never ever use Eldo Coaches, they are not punctual, they made us waiting from 17:20 to 19:50,
No communication no nothing. Their service is the worst I ever received. They don't take their customers serious
The guys that assisting with luggage they need customer service and people that are stocking at Johannesburg they bring lots of luggage and in so much that we had to go inside the coach with our luggage
The managers on the various stops were shouting at the driving loudly in front of the customers. I do not know for the love of Christ why this bus prefers stopping at that weird place with dirty toilets. That don't even flush, why not Bloemfontein? Or find any other stop that is hygiene, even a forest would rather do. The driver of this bus had the temperatures so low. I was freezing all the way from Jhb to GQ.
