Bus from Cape Town to Johannesburg: Tickets & Schedules

From the start it was very bad because if their is misunderstood they can’t help u

It was a very smooth drive and the driver was very punctual and professional when he communicates with the passengers. The only thing l did not like was only the heater it was a bit hot.

I didn’t enjoy it , it was cold and told the driver to put on a warm aircon but that was not granted , whole night felt like a nightmare because it was freezing cold

The bus arrived on time on departure and arrival. The problem was the seats were not compatible and space it was very small now my legs are swollen.

I booked on Greyhound Premium because I wanted to be comfortable but was I surprised😳. My seat had no footrest and I could not adjust the seat… it was in a laying position and that’s how I’ve travelled for 19hours😭. Your driver almost left me behind in Colesburg, while I was making a bottle for my grandchild… no courtesy of just blowing the hooter. I had to run after the bus. The air conditioner was on freezing cold without any consideration for us the paying passengers. In conclusion if I knew that your offering in the Premium bus is so putrid… I would have just booked on a standard bus.

Nothing on the bus was working, while I was travelling with my one year old, the lights were not working we were in the dark most of the journey. The drivers wouldn’t turn on the lights and the air conditioning was not working either. Last trip the bus got stuck for 4 hours so I’ve had inconvenience’s every single time I’ve booked with Greyhound this was definitely the last time!!!

The bus didn’t keep up on time, driver is rude& we were taken to another area without any excuse

The bus was only a couple of minutes late, which wasn’t bad at all compared to other buses. However, the drop-off point is in a very dangerous place, just before entering Park Station. I also got robbed while waiting for my son, who was travelling. I had to pretend that I was with my partner, who was at the shop across the street. The shop worker confirmed that this place is not safe at all.

The coach was not branded, it was dirty . Seats were uncomfortable and broken. Horrible experience. Ride drivers

The drivers were very friendly and very focus on the road. I had a wonderful traveling home and we arrived safely

The journey was lovely and safely but the booking time was 1230 to 600 am and we arrived at 8 ,besides that we had an amazing journey.

Very bad peoples are seated not comfortable and the bus was very hot plz fix your service

I really enjo My trip to JHB and it was my first time using the bus and it was a great experience

There was this terrible sound that was very annoying.. Not sure if it's speed restriction alarm but it was horrible right through the night.

I enjoyed my journey, the drivers were very kind. What I did not enjoyed is the people who were drinking inside the bus making noise swearing other people, making noise singing from Bellville to Johannesburg Park Station. This thing of drinking alcohol inside the bus is making other people uncomfortable.

Horrible my bus was suppose to leave at 4pm but the bus arrive at 20:00 with no communication from the company

Bus arrived 2hours late and we had to get off at some point and exchange buses which took an hour Drivers were rude and their communication was utter rubbish.Delta management should do better some people waited for the bus for over 6hours because they lied about departure time I will never use this bus again and I hope this helps someone

The worst experience, 3 hour delay, random stops with no explanation provided. Again in the middle of the trip around past 2 am , it was cold and dark in some random garage we were told we need to get off the bus there’s another coming. A good hour was wasted again with moving our luggage and all. I would never recommend this bus to anyone.

It was horrible I am never going to use their services again, the departure was 6 hours late which made me miss my second second bus from Gauteng to Limpopo.

There is high breach of trust. Booking 3pm for bus takeoff but was delayed till 6pm. I was supposed to have a meeting in Johannesburg at 9am but ended up getting here at 12pm. I am highly disappointed in FF Gertse. Anyways, thank God for journey mercy.

I didn't enjoy my trip to start with the bus does not pick up at the time of your booking I booked for 3 o'clock bus. Bus left at 6-7pm from cape Town.it is not even the bus I booked for,the bus is no name.secondly this bus dropped us on the side of the road to take another bus to Joburg,we waited for hours for another bus.thirdly because I bought a return ticket for 2 people bus was 500 a ticket,I paid 2000 rand for both why I don't know. 4 thly the same thing happened on our way back.booked for 3 bus came at 6 it was very cold on this bus no heater only Aircon,we waited for 3 hrs on the side of the road for a bus to cape.we have to get out of the bus around 3 in the morning in the cold to change for another bus yhuuu.not again shem.who want to be overcharged for a bad service

The bus arrived late. The drivers didn't handle ventilation well, the temperature was too hot, stuffy and hard to breathe clean air most of the times. They allow people who are selling in the bus and didn't notice that one of them was on the bus when they were driving, that is security issue for me. Unauthorized people can cause harm.

Very bad they said we will leave around 1 o'clock but we left Capetown around 6 o'clock afternoon yhooo

Firstly it was my first time using APMWC and I truly enjoyed the journey from CP - JHB, the driver was super professional and friendly at the same time. Hahaha I also made friends.

The bus got an accident after traveling for less than 10km. They only send them another bus after 3hours

The was nothing to enjoy bus was late after being n hour late we got stuck from 11pm until 2am that's when they send another bus it drive slowly with to many stops,we arrived at joburg 20:00 pm while arrival time was 14:00

I did not enjoy the fact that the bus did arrive in time at the departure and I arrived late to my departure and I missed my second trip from Johannesburg to mpumalanga

Bus was supposed to leave at 18H30 and turned up at 20H00. 5 hrs later it was over heating. Had to hike from Lansburg to Bloem. Dreadful service

The bus stucked at beufortwest on the 22 december 2023 we waited 4 hours machan came and fix the bus they manage to drive 3km and it stucked on open veld we had no water and we waited on other 5hours before the rescue bus arrive finally it came. So it was poor service from 21 December 2023 and we arrive 23 December 2023

I did not enjoy from the very beginning they changed a bus and waiting time and the arrival time

It was honestly awful, there were about 4/5 hours late. A woman got punched in the face for enquiring about it!

The fact that it’s communicated that the bus will pick us up at a certain stop, at a certain time. When we arrived at the spot, we were told that there is no busses that picks anyone up. We had to run around to find out where the bus stops, all contact numbers does not work at all… then there is the times communicated, the time communicated on the ticket states 2:15pm, only to find out that the bus would arrive at a total different pick up at 4-5 hours later! What a disappointment.

Worst trip ever, bus was delayed by nearly 2 hours. We were then charged money for our luggage even though our weight did not exceed 20kg p/p. Bus pulled over at some bush along the road and one of the passengers got bit by a snake wanting to relieve herself because the Bus toilet was locked all the way. The aircon wasn't working. One of the passengers got robbed with her bag and money because the driver refused to drop us off at park station. Guys please, under no circumstances take an illulabus!!! The worst ever.

That bus does exist. I wasted my money as the bus did pitch and the contact numbers provided are for someone who used to be employee of Hartley tours 5 years ago. I had to book another bus I lost the money that I booked with
