The bus never left because of the weather. The only thing is that we were not told at the airport that all the buses to the US were cancelled. So we took a shuttle to Toronto terminal downtown and there we found out while they had the info many hours earlier but did not pass it over to the airport. This means a waist of time going down time and no courtesy to look after taking us back to the airport. I had to buy a metro and the UP ticket, 15$ additional expenses
Bus was dirty, everytime had to run to get seats, and NO wifi as mentioned. Second driver was rude, and due to the rain, the wiper noise was on the while time.. gave a headache
The worst service ever!! The bus was 5-6 hrs late. The driver took an hour to check the tickets and later said bus is not in good shape. We were holding at Buffalo for 4hrs!!
The stop at Syracuse was very long. More than one n half hours. The lady driver took a very long time to start the journey to NYC. When we reached NYC we were circling the city for more than 45minutes. Finally we arrived really late & tired at Port Authority at 9pm
The seats were extremely uncomfortable. We’ve done overnight buses all through South America and this was by far the worst. Didn’t get one wink of sleep.
Bus broke down close to buffalo. Stranded on highway for 2 hours. Relief bus was filthy and nothing worked. The washroom was full of fecal material and urine. Bus driver abandoned bus at buffalo terminal leaving us stranded for 1 hour. New bus driver drove 25 miles in the wrong direction and wasnt until a customer pointed it out that he stopped and waited for another bus driver to come and take passengers who needed to go another way. No stops for food and bus driver drove frantically. Also bus driver called the other bus driver who abandoned us out of his mind and cant be trusted over the PA system. 3 year old couldnt use the washroom due to unsanitary conditions.
No coordination. Had to go from Coach Terminal to take the bus from Pearson Airport and then again come back to Coach Terminal with the bus to change to another bus from Coach terminal. Wasted 3 hours. Plus the bus arrived almost 2 hours late in NYC
Allowed 20 or more other people at end of a 2 hour line to get in without noticing, until 2 people finally complained privately to customer inquiry office. Otherwise they were dealing the best they could with a challenging situation which they had no control over...(However, no one explained what happened to the bus to the customers.)
Second driver from buffalo terminal was bad and one guy sleeping and make noise all the journey to New York so we feel very uncomfortable. That passenger his sit was back but he try to sleep front side near bus driver .Bus driver should look after every passenger.i hope admin should review to passenger to get comfortable.
There we're two drivers on my trip from Toronto to New York. The first driver was until Buffalo. The second driver was from Buffalo to New York City. The first bus driver had an amazing personality; gregarious spoke freely and openly to all of us and a pleasure. The second bus driver was quieter and equally a pleasure to be with. He was clear in his instructions regarding our safety and in his need that all mobile phones not reflect on his windshield during our night time travel. He's probably one of the best drivers I have ever encountered. He drove through massive rain storms and circumnavigated other drivers on the road who were blatantly careless, given the road conditions. In this way too, he looked out for the safety of his passengers. Smply put, he was incredible. Though the electricity on the right side of the bus did not work that is totally forgivable as the bus was comfortable and clean. Five stars to Greyhound.
Seats r very uncomfortable phone chargers r not proper not working waited long time in buffalo driver was very rude over all this was unsatisfactory traveling experience
The quality of the bus is awful. Very uncomfortable and the seatbelts don't work. Do not waste your time trying to save money doing this trip with this company. They need to improve a lot in order to just be considered “bad.”q
The bus was late leaving Toronto but the driver Marco was great. He made the trip to Buffalo very comfortable and he was able to help solve a dispute between two customers regarding seating.
Very disgusting bus, everything smelled like urine, including the overhead bins. Very rude and angry driver. Was promised wifi, it didn't work. Bathroom had urine and feces everywhere.
Really uncomfortable seats
Too small for my legs
All the time the lights were off, no movies, no wifi, no nothing and I can’t sleep in a bus so it was a 10 hour nightmare, I feel sick
One of the worst travel that I had in my life. Bus was late, scheduled to 11:00 pm and this bus was full. I was moved to the bus scheduled to 11:30 which was also delayed.
Greyhound was great. There was a bus transfer once but it was okay since we didn’t have to wait too long. Also the other bus didn’t have outlets which was kinda annoying. Overall, it was fine
There is no permanent sitting arrangements...during border control our seats has been taken by other people when we came back in the bus so the 6 of us has to sit separately.
