Horrible experience, I arrived at the pickup location 20 minutes before the bus was meant to arrive and it didn't arrive at all! Secondly I had to call the company number letting them know their bus hasn't shown up an hour later and they told me that I was supposed to receive an sms letting me know that the pick up location has changed and they made it seem like it's my fault when I correctly wrote down my phone number then after that call the bus driver called me immediately telling me they are about to leave and I told them to wait for me I am 10 minutes away from them and they told me that they are leaving heading for the Melmoth route from Empangeni Museum and when I arrived there I realized that they really left me so I will never ever consider booking a bus ticket with Intercity Xpress ever again!

The customer service was good overall, it just that we traveled on a bad day with all the traffic on the roads but all in all i was happy with the service.

The bus breakdown for hours with no proper updates from intercape we had to wait for three hours in order for the bus to get fixed and our safety was compromised
Clearly intercape does not do bus inspections before realising them for long distance trips furthermore aircons were not working ,we were dying of heat 🥲🥲
