Bus from Johannesburg to Harare: Tickets & Schedules

Terrible Service. The bus delayed to leave Johannesburg and it didn't even communicate the delay. It then used another bus (Intercity) to pick people up at Midrand where I was waiting for it, and it left me, until my cousin had to rush me to catch it in Pretoria. Never booking this bus again.

I enjoyed the service, particularly air-conditioning that suited the cold weather, and arriving on time as well timeous breaks. The onboard toilet facility was a plus and as always the USB charging ports and the friendly and helpful staff. Was just disappointed that there was no Wi-Fi onboard service.

The bus and seats were nice and very comfortable. The bus was clean and warm The driver though was not so polite.

Too much luggage on the luxury coach and arrived in Harare almost 2 hours after the scheduled arrival time

I was impressed by the arrival time . We were well way ahead of the time. I was not impressed by the crew's failure to provide bins for litter.

bus broke down o the way and delayed us so much. Apparently they had to pick up luggage at PTA and that took forever too.

I could not find them at the Newtown station. I was redirected to powerhouse. I was made to pay for may lagguage R400 despite the weight of the bag. They do not stick to their departure times and arrival times. The bus was extremely loaded. There are too many people pausing as Sable class staff, yiu do not know who is who and they are all taking payments. I am grateful for their help but I do not wish to use them again in the future. I arrived in a Harare at 7.30pm when I was supposed to arrive at 1.30pm. They do not care about the inconveniences caused.

Worst trip ever we were supposed to departure at 4pm only to departure at 20:00 we thought we are going only to be parked for more than 2hrs again in Midrand, staff were disrespectful no explanation we given to us we had to abandon the bus in Rutenga and hiked paid R350 more to our destination because the bus was being delayed again we spent 2 days on the road which was supposed to be a 1 day trip I wish to rate it 0 because that was the worst trip ever, worst bus ever

I was not happy at all.We departed very late at 10pm instead of 3pm.My journey was not pleasing at all and I wouldn't recommend anyone to use sable class.

Let me convey my gratitude for the excellent customer service from the help desk ,drivers ,conductors .l experienced a move of God what outstood was prayers before we left JHB and leaving HRE .Drivers were very cautious,drove smoothly regardless of distance they made sure people’s nature needs were met (recess) M very lucky to encounter such.Hoping we have such buses in my hometown too(Plumtree).Will definitely use them in my next visit

The bus leaves the station and arrives on time. The drivers drive safely too

As type feedback we are still on the road approximately 150km before Harare. Instead of arriving around 10:30, we'll arrive at 17:00

The trip was super fine,.. wifi on board plus good team. The only challenge was my boarding time was moved ahead by 3 hours and it was on a short notice.

Everything was fine except that we could not get the bus at powerhouse where it was supposed to be but we finally got it in Pretoria

Very poor service, there was no bus on Monday 20/10/25.No communication wass made, was tossed around from one bus to another till 4pm

Everything was ok except the lagauge packing .Some of the goods broke open and spiled e.g my blanket had paint all over

Although boarding was delayed by 3 hours, the drivers assured us that we would still arrive in Harare on time. They kept their word. What stood out most about the journey was how kind and friendly the drivers were. Their driving speed was also very satisfactory. SwissExpress07

I’m very disappointed with the service I received. The experience was not what I expected, and the delays/inconvenience caused unnecessary frustration. I understand that problems can happen, but I would appreciate better communication and a more reliable service in the future. I hope this matter will be taken seriously and addressed.

I did enjoy the wifi all the way to Harare and the comfort in the bus it is also smart inside and the drivers were 100% good

They are don't keep time the bus came 2 hours late on the way everything was good if they can improve on time keeping. We departed Johannesburg at 4 not 2 arrived in Harare past 3pm not 10am as on the ticket.

The drivers were professional, speed was observed, the toilets and interior were neat. However the departure time was not kept. We departed 2 hours late and arrived very late. Kindly employ border agents on the SA side.

They dont a proper pickup point as advertised, the buses are not coaches and have no toilets. The bus went through zvishavane, gweru, kadoma then harare. Will never recommend anyone to use the bus

Nothing to enjoy The bus left me at the border. I had to catch another bus which caught up with it. It arrived late in harare and parked in budiroro where were expected to sleep in the bus.

Your team (driver, conductor) is useless. They are incompetent, don't have customer care

With regards to time management its 10 out of 10 but we did not have toilet breaks or to buy food the all journey both SA side and Zim side. Furthermore, the bus people do not comply with the luggage rules, they made us pay for our 22kg bags and when it came too seats they kept moving us so the driver can put their family members on the seats.

I honestly enjoyed nothing, the bus drivers were terrible, over speeding, evading police officers,endangering people's lives, they didnt have the appropriate paper work, unnecessary delays and no regard for their customers. I will never travel with this bus again!
