My Peter Pan trip was before time! I arrived before 2pm for a 3 pm bus and, since there was plenty of space, the driver accepted my ticket. The bus was clean, express, and arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule. The driver communicated what we needed to know. It wasv easy to book the ticket online.
The driver was very courteous with a pleasant demeanor. The only downside was a rude man seated in front of me who conversed on his phone through 90% of the trip!
the bus was producing a fume that was making passengers (myself included feel sick). The driver ultimately found out that it was coming from the rear. We had to open the emergency window for some ventilation. It was quite suffocating. The rest of the trip was freezing (due to the open window).
Some people only transit in Hartford , Peter Pan will be better if they have guid in bus to arrange service to Passenger to catch their destination smoothly .
Only late due to rush hour traffic, it didnt mess anything up. So no worries, but the power outlets werent working on the bus so I couldn't keep in contact with the person picking me up, and people got worries when they couldn't reach me because my phone was dead and couldnt be charged. Over all great trip.
very bad experience. People could have some important work to be done on time. If this could happen in emergency, it could affect somebody's career too. 1 Hour of delay might be okay but more than 2 hours delay and no update of the bus is unreal. Never gonna travel with greyhound. It is my 2nd time delayed by 2 hours.
The light-up signs over the gates were not correct (said Portsmouth, NH), and the light-up sign on the bus said a different location (Albany, NY), which created a very confusing situation at a very busy bus terminal.
The bus from Boston to Hartford left one hour late. In Hartford we didn’t know if we would have been able to come back because the bus was late and the staff wasn’t clear about its arrival time. Eventually we made it with a delay of “just” half an hour.
I don’t know if this is more a Greyhoubd or Busbud problem, but tickets bought online through Busbud weren’t available at the self-service kiosk when I arrived at the station. I had to ask the staff at the counter to print the tickets, who were very nice, but it still took some time. Had I been in a rush I might have missed the bus.
It sucks, you should change your policy about not honoring tickets on mobile phones, I had a printer break down on me the day of my trip so I had to go with Peter Pan they have an app that works great with smartphones
I can not write a review as my flight to Boston got cancelled and I was not able to get there for the bus ride. I realize my ticket is non refundable and that is upsetting in that I had no control over the weather and flight cancellations. Should have something for those extraordinary instances.
The bus left the station 48 minutes late, and arrived at my destination an hour and ten minutes later than the time on my ticket. The staff was friendly, but the timeliness was not the best.
After traveling with a dog-named competitor who was constantly late and never accommodating after the fact, I switched to Peter Pan. The bus was there BEFORE the scheduled boarding time with doors open and most of the passengers already boarded. The onlydm
Some of the electrical outlets did not work. Was able to switch seats to charge device. Driver didn't present safety video, or of distance/destination time table.
Awful customer service. After driving for 1 hr, the bus had to come back to station, because half of the passengers were waiting for the bus in a different gate, we got to sour final destination more than an hour late
The girl at the ticket window tried to charge me for my luggage. I said wait a minute here I'm calling immediately no one said anything about luggage fees especially since the driver refused to touch our bags.
She changed her mind very fast and said oh wait yeah there is no fees for luggage.
I was really upset because i paid for my son and i to habe our own sits but whenni got to the bus their was only 1 seat left i had to go the whole ride from boston to springfield with my 2 year old in my lap i was really upset still am.i wouldnt take peterpan again
