It left 45 minutes late and arrived 30 minutes late in Gloucester. When I asked the staff at Victoria why it was late leaving they blamed road works on the M4 coming into London. Surely as the road works have been there months this should have been accounted for in the planning.

Our bus driver did not stop at out stop. We noticed he passes our stop and he finally stopped but stated it was impossible to return to the stop we paid for. He suggested we go to the next station and pay for a bus to take us back, however we had too much luggage and a set of golf clubs and he could not say we would be able to travel on the bus with those items. I had to insist he stop the bus to let us out so it could shorten our walk. It took him too long to stop for us to walk. I had my 79 year old mother with me and bags. We ended up waiting for over 30 minutes in the cold for a taxi. Interestingly, a family member saw the bus go by on the way back from Gloucester, so not sure why it was impossible to get us to our stop? He said the roads don’t go that direction or the roads don’t allow busses in that direction? Either way, it should not have happened and ended up costing us money!
