Missed the bus at 8 am because the driver just drove past without even slowing down to see if there was anyone at the bus stop, transferred my ticket to the 12 pm bus, and got on the WRONG BUS because I couldn’t understand what the driver was saying and he didn’t check the tickets if anyone who got onboard. Ended up all the way in Ft Meyers instead of Orlando, needing to get picked up by my family and money wasted on the tickets I bought to and from Orlando. Will not be using RedCoach ever again.
Back up driver friendly, helpful. We were waiting for bus, didn't come for 1 hr so we called, agent said based on his bus GPS it's coming in 30 minutes. Tallahassee bus but driver just kept saying 'Tallahasee' then took off after loaded passengers.
Another 1/2 hour went by, Miami bus came, driver help call their office found out Orlando bus broke down, sending backup bus be another 30 minutes. Another hour later, backup bus came. He said busses rarely break down. Other people in that area said Fridays bus can be several hours late due to traffic. I missed my events because of this problem. I'll not use redcoach again. Greyhound bus reliable. Thanks.
I got an email that my bus had been pushed back but my account information didn’t change so I had to call several times to confirm pick up. They also pushed the time back two hours without any compensation.
Had a bit of confusion at the pick up, as they didn't send a shuttle, it was just an unmarked car, due to only having 3 passengers, but the driver apologized and was extremely helpful and friendly. Even though we left late he got us to Orlando in comfort. Even with issues outside of his control, I would recommend again for sure!
Ground desk staff were unhelpful and didn’t inform anyone that the bus was more than 2 hours late unless we specifically enquires at the desk and word spread. Bus was nice and luggage handlers were polite but I was VERY late to the airport for a flight, a 2 hour delay is completely ridiculous
The departure was scheduled for 7:35pm from Tampa. The driver left at 7:15pm (the bus was not full). We arrived 20 minutes before the scheduled departure right at 7:15, and the bus was closing up and getting ready to leave. We were frazzled and the bus drive essentially told us he can leave whenever he wants. This experience was outrageous, and should be escalated to this drivers manager.
The luggage guy at my destination tried to tell me he didn’t have my bag and it was not on the bus initially.. had little to no help trying to figure out what to do in that kind of situation. I kept telling him to check the trunk of the bus again he kept telling me he didn’t have it... until I saw the ribbons on my luggage that I specifically put on to recognize it. He said “oh, I guess it is here”. Felt like a scheme to me..
Needed assistance for 2 elderly women traveling out of state on my TPA-ORL bu. Unfortunately the driver did not announce transfer/connecting buses. I overheard ther confusion, spoke with a baggage handler and ticket agent. The women were well taken care of. Overall great ending; however the driver should have announced connector buses!
