It was the most terrible trip for my children where the bus had breakdown twice for the same journey wasting more than 5 hours and missing going to work because of the Intercape Buses which are not properly serviced. This was not the only bus as my other child got stuck on the morning of the 3rd from Mthatha to Cape Town at Somerset East same Intercape bus. It was even worse because the one they were changed from it had faulty door which was supposed to be fixed before Intercape management expect people to travel with such risky busses. Thorough checking of the busses before travelling is expected from every bus carrying the lives of people, leaving people stranded on the road with children for hours .

My experience with APMWC was very disappointing. The bus was in poor condition, which caused problems along the way. We were supposed to arrive in George at 2am, but at Plettenberg Bay the traffic officials stopped the bus because it was not in a good state. This left us stranded, and I had to hire an Uber from Plett to George at my own cost (R150). I did not enjoy the inconvenience, extra expense, and poor reliability.
