Great experience overall. I wish it would tell prior to purchasing the tickets if the seats are together or not. I bought two tickets, one for me and my wife and after purchasing I noticed we were not sitting together. I asked the person beside me if they could swap seats.
Wonderful ride through the idyllic spanish countryside , it's hills and fields covered with rows upon rows of olives trees , their fruit a blessing to this land and country. Amen
It was a 5h journey but the driver drove rather smoothly. Didn't really feel like 5 hours as there was a stopover at a station for 30 mins where we could buy food.
we were travelling to madrid by bus for the first time we had ticket till mandaro alvaro bus station and at avendia americas station we were shouted upon to get out of the bus, we had a hard time getting our luggage, no one was at the information center nor driver could speak English, what we could hear was just the shouting by the driver as if we had committed some crime. There was no proper information about the stoppages at the tv screen inside the bus nor by the driver. somehow we managed to catch some other means to reach our destination.
The staff almost threw my luggage on the ground and one wheel of my suitcase was broken. It made my trip awful and I had to buy a new suitcase and spend more time to sort this out.
We were fortunate to have booked early enough to get seats 1 & 2 on the top deck and so had a great view of the countryside between Granada and Madrid. Finding our way around the bus stations was straightforward and was well explained on the tickets. The bus was clean and functional. The loading of luggage was well done.
The ride was comfortable. We stopped midway for about 20-25 minutes for toliet break and get food/drinks. They had tvs with bilingual movies and tv shows. Helped pass the time of the trip.
Wasn’t sure if the toilet could be used as it was locked.
Some signage in English will help people who can’t understand Spanish.
The screen that I had for seat 29 did not work.
Other than that punctuality was great. We arrived Madrid at exactly 2.30pm as stated.
The bus was in time and reasonably priced. However, the driver was rude and disrespectful to my family. I was happy with the overall service but I hope customer are treated in a more courteous manner in the future.
This was the most luxurious bus I’ve ever traveled on. 5+ hours went by so fast! It was quiet, smooth, and lots of movies and games to play to pass the time.
Just as good as first class on the AVE trains — individual movie screens, free WiFi, lovely continental breakfast and snack, beautiful scenery. Fantastic!
As far as abus journey goes, it achieves the task. However, clients should be told 4.5 hrs is to long for most humans to endure no toilet stop, nor food option. More importantly, clients must be informed in advance.
Comfortable and timely trip. It would be good to have a 15 min stop to stand and stretch legs. Four and a half hours is a long time for a tall person to sit in a seat that is tight for their height.
