I thought the trip was good but at the bus station in Heathrow T3 the board advised to wait in lounge until 1min before bus was due to leave. Then it switched to go to platform 9. I walked down there straight away and the bus was pulling out. The driver said my seat was probably free but if it's not then kick them out. It wasn't free so I just sat elsewhere.
The bus was late 1h and the driver didn't wait 1 minute just arriving to get in just because he was ready to go he said no just drived off really unhappy never gonna travel again on megabus i have to get a different bus to bristol after buy another ticket to cardiff i suppose to arrive Cardiff 4pm just arrived at 7pm
Bus driver didn’t drop us at the advertised stop (Cardiff University), he drove straight to Friars Gardens…was quite rude, talking about inappropriate subjects with a fellow passenger.
I pressed the wrong button; I wanted to rate it 5 stars; my driver was flexible, helpful and gave me a smooth ride. I left Heathrow for cardiff at about 11 pm on Thursday 8 Sentiment. Decent bloke, good trip
I like the system of national express, regarding everything like, on time departure and on time arrive to cardiff. Also they have very cooperative staff.
I missed two buses due to my flight being delayed and was unable to speak to a human. I emailed and received an unsatisfactory response. I eventually paid more and travelled with National Express. They were excellent.
I'll never use Megabus again. My connecting bus at Bristol failed to turn up leaving me waiting on the street in the cold for nearly two hours. I'd already waited for two hours for the bus at Heathrow after my plane arrived early so I spent nearly four hours waiting around for Megabuses. Next time I will use National Express as they offer a direct bus to Wales, rather than having to change buses at Bristol with the possibility that the second bus just fails to show up.
When I asked the driver if I was at the right bus he told me that I should speak with another person other than him about it! And when I went to speak with the driver behind him the bus I was supposed to be in (his bus!!) left. Very disappointed as I’ve lost the Money and had to book another ticket from another coma
The service is good just a couple of issues.
1. The bus arrived with the destination as Swansea and no indication it was going to Cardiff. If we had not asked the driver we may still be waiting.
2. When passengers used the toilet there was a fowl smell throughout the bus.
It was a good journey but the heating was turned up way too high for quite a while untill someone said something about it. Staff were great and friendly.
Good service
I think will be much better if they can utilise more option to use the internet especially for the tourism and they can manage their booking during the journey other things looks good...
There was too much noise in the bus as a result of inconsiderate passengers who were chatting incessantly on their phones or the children who were allowed to be loud for the entire duration of the trip.
The driver was really miserable and moaned that my case was too heavy. I loaded it myself. Does he really expect long haul passengers at Heathrow to travel the world with just a carrier bag for luggage?
