Booked a national express, an old Edwards coaches turned up, the bus just about made it to London & seats were terribly uncomfortable
It was raining heavily, several National Express drivers were stood in the bus with the door wide open having a chat, they easily could have invited me to take my seat on the bus. Instead I was made to wait in the rain. When it came time to board two women walked to the front of the queue and pushed passed everyone else, the driver saw everything and said nothing. The USB and charging sockets were broken on both journeys, I had to miss part of the event I was travelling for in order to go to a bar I didn't want to go to simply to charge my phone so I could show my ticket for the return journey. By the time we had arrived back in Cardiff my battery had died again so I wad unable to book an uber. There were no taxis at the bus station so I had to walk home to Fairwater at 4am in the rain. I spent the following day in bed with a cold. A completely wasted journey, I wish I hadn't spent the money in the first place.
Good bus ride, would’ve appreciated better signage on the departure location though. I had to ask around to make sure I was in the right spot, which was an anxiety that could’ve been avoided. Also, someone was playing pop music out loud, or at least audibly, which made it hard to sleep, though obviously that’s not really in your control completely. Otherwise, it was extremely comfortable and timely, and I had good experiences with the staff! Thanks for a safe and prompt journey home!
It was a lovely trip . Driver was friendly and helpfool .
I can't reply because I missed the bus went to the wrong bus stop but megga bus were good
We departed late and there was no information about a bus or why were we late.. But, overall, the ride was smooth and we arrived to London ahead of time. So, it was OK
Enjoyed travelling with National Express. On time and staff very helpful!
The outgoing trip to London was delayed by forty five minutes and it was requested that eight people volunteer to take a coach more than an hour later to Heathrow and then an exchange to Victoria Station. It was said that until eight people volunteered we wouldn't be moving. About ten minutes later, we got moved to a coach right next to us which had been there the entire time and which would have enough seats for everybody. On my way from London to Cardiff I found the driver rude and incompetent. He spoke to passengers in a derogatory manner. The doors stopped working and when somebody asked what was wrong he replied with attitude. He also gave attitude to two women who tried to board the bus when they had the wrong tickets. We also arrived at Cardiff later than planned.
On the ticket, I had indicated the bus stop in opposit side of the street. It was confused.
I was due to catch the 5.25pm bus from Cardiff University the bus was cancelled due to no driver. Had to get the bus to Bristol then change and get on another bus to London.
