Staff doesn't offer a good customer service. The ladies at Washington office didn't help me about my lost baggage. They transfered my bag to another bus for no reason and I had to wait half an hour for it.
Very unpleasant experience. WIFI not working until Albany. After that we switched bus. Wifi speed was very low. AC was not functioning properly. It was either too cold or heavy. The driver instruction was unclear (NY to Baltimore). I missed my bus in Baltimore and had to take another bus.
The late is not acceptable
The first stop was OK but once arrive to new York bus station we wait 2:30hour until the next bus. It was very tiring for all people who took this bus
The driver didn't tell us there was a fuel leak in the bus trunk. He could have told us it was only on certain areas, he could have protected our luggage and explain the reason of the strong smell of fuel. But he didn't. So I got my bag and my clothes oily and smelly for the rest of my vacation. When I went to their office in Washington to complain, the guy in charge was never available to help me. I went back twice at times he was suppose to be there but he was never there. Now I wrote to Greyhound but I don't think such company with so low level of service will give me an answer.
In Montreal : The bus was late and dirty. The electrical outlets are not the best fit and they should be horizontal and not vertical so the plugs can stay. Overall, the bus was old, noisy and dirty. Also the WiFi does not work in Canada, which is a minus for people who need to.check their schedule At the border: The staff should be more considerate when crossing the border. A good manner would be to announce the arrival prior to official inspection and make sure passengers are not sleeping. It can be stressful and confusing to be woken up by an officer and can jeopardize the interview. The fare is to high for the services.
Only downside to the drive was the bus broke down for about 2 1/2 hours in upper New York - which is why you only get three stars for timeliness.
