Bus was only late due to travelers not pre-preparing for Canadian border document requirements. AT did fine with a bus waiting and ready to go an hour ahead of time.
Terrible way of dealing with people when these persons have to make do and defend / protect themselves vis a vis the sudden closing of the Canadian border. We finally managed to come back to Montreal thanks to the goodwill of some policemen and customs officers and in spite of the antipathy of Adirondack Trailways staff, especially the supervisor in charge of Albany station on that night .
The machines at the station where unable to print my ticket therefore I had to ask for the driver to accept me on the bus without a printed ticket. It was very nerve racking because I called greyhound and they were very indifferent about my situation and I knew my trip back home depended on the driver's judgement. Thankfully the driver was really nice and accepted me on the bus .
It was not confortable as a trip, plus I lost my passport when I've arrived at the bus station at berri. ..the customer service of greyhound in Montréal they didn't seem co-operative. .they got cameras everywhere. .it's easy to check it what happened with my passport ...I am disappointed with the service .
I am very upset my bus was supposed to leave at 11.00 clock pm we was delayed I am not happy it was very inconvenient they kept moving so they could clean the place was extremely dirty they let us around the people was all night we were in the station unto 8,30 the next morning very tired not no accountability we were yet treated like animals moving us from one side of the building to the next I don’t want to use greyhound anymore the services was horrible I planning make a complaint about I have taken greyhound for over twenty years and never experienced this level of inconsistency and inconsideration I feel horrible and sick from this night 2/8/2020 my ticket was for the 7th of feb
They switched us to another bus on the way, delayed, no detail or announcements. The bus was so cold, I was freezing will all my clothes and jackets on.
It was overall a good organized experience but the driver left us to costumes, because he didn’t count the passengers. And they took longer to process our documents.
Best regards.
Bus waited to leave border due to a perceived missing passenger. However, many on the bus knew he had been picked up. If the driver had asked, we would have told her, but she did not speak to us and did not explain delay in leaving.
Eveyone got there early for the bus. Some customers had a mix up with tickets as they just handed a pile to the staff instead of one by one. Another group didnt fit on the bus and took ages to sit or leave. The trip was fine. Crossing the canadian border was easy but we had to take all our stuff off and find our seats again. On our way back the driver took a wrong Turn and got us slightly lost and took a while to find their way back. Eventually got to the stop over an hour late. No rest stop to speed up our trip too.
The driver was nice but it was their second time coming to Montreal. Therefore they got lost and we went in circles for 90 minutes after we made our first stop, which is usually 10 minutes from the final station...
