While booking the ticket i was not informed that the bus is not direct. I had to wait at the station in mew york for 3 hours. Would appreciate if waiting time/halt is informed at time of booking and not after issuing ticket. Also there was no staff at new york at 4 am to help or guide.
The first bus driver was awesome. The second one was nice however there were five passengers being overly loud in the back about 80% of the way from Philly on. The bus driver not once addressed it and everyone seemed discomforted most of the way because of them. Also, we were almost an hour late to Boston.
The bus from washington dc to new york was great and comfortable although it’s not from greyhound (the name’s something valley i couldn’t remember) maybe it’s their partner bus or something.
When we layover at new york (port authority bus terminal) we missed our bus to boston.
We arrived at port authority on 15.20 and our bus to boston supposed to depart on 16.00. We just go to toilet and had a seat first for approx 20 minutes and we went to the gate (as we seen in the monitor). We waited and waited but there’re no bus to boston on that gate. When we ask the staff they tell us that our bus had left and we must re-booked our ticket in the ticketing office.
We were confuse because we waited there and we didn’t see the bus.
The staff in the office said that our bus leave at 16.00 and there that was impossible that we missed the bus.
We were completely confused.
In the end we had to buy another ticket for $20/person.
It was a very uncomfortable experience and we just hope that either we or anybody else wouldn’t experience this again
The bus departed 50 minutes late and the company did not even apologize. Then, the AC was super high even though the driver was told multiple times about it. Never using them again.
The bus was delayed 3 hours and I couldn't get on the bus because it didn't have enough seat. And I also couldn't get a refund because it was a connecting trip and I already used the first ticket. Very disappointing
greyhound didn't keep time schedule
it didn't come for over 2 hours at the dawn of last Saturday without any announcement. (from NY to Boston) Staffs kept saying they didn't know when bus coming. What's more, they didn't let passengers take bus by loading number, so my friend and i didn't take next coming bus. We bought a new other ticket.
Also when I came back to NY from Boston, I waited for over 1 hour for daparture. I'm so dissapointed and unpleasant. I want compensation for my psychological damage and time loss
I would like to make a complaint, I unfortunately could not use the tickets from Washington DC to Boston, because I tried to change my ticket to another schedule and I could not, I had to buy another ticket at the time that cost me 57 dollars, today I would go back to Washigton, I get the information that I could not book because I did not make my buck at the station, but I was not informed that I should do it, I tried to do it in Boston, but I could not, I had to pay for another Ticket, another 57 dollars, I unfortunately could not use it, the company has a very poor service, at any moment they asked to make my buck I did not know that! I thought I could do it over the internet.
in Newyork I have transferred to 1 PM bus as I was early. but the bus from newyork to boston which is supposed to come by 5:15 came at 5:50. due to which I have missed my boston express bus which is at 5:30
Although the price is low (if you get something around usd20to usd30) and the crew very cool, the bus is very uncomfortable, dirty and in a bad shape. The internet is also too bad and doesn't support the media service that is announced on the website / app (that also didn't worked).
I was very concerned about my luggage because there no ticket for it and no check to take it back.
I and my family who were on board are very very disappointed with the Peter Pan crew that handled our departure from DC to Boston.
1. The first driver was very rude in how he addressed the passengers before beginning the trip driving at 20mph
2. The bus apparently didn't get a routine maintenance as it won't go over 20mph and the driver had to pull over to call for backup.
3. This driver's rudeness was experienced again in how he communicated with the backup staff. He just is not polite I guess!
4. We were stranded at Chesapeake visitor center for over 1hour 30mins waiting for the backup bus.
5. Upon arriving New York the driver Sieanna Taylor ( I may be spelling her first name wrong, but this time I had to take note of driver's names in order to write my review) Her driving skills were horrible, not only driving on the right lane for almost the entire trip from New York to Boston, but also driving under speed limit thereby delaying the trip over and over again like though we weren't already getting sick in our stomachs!
5. Our overall trip was delayed tremendously due to this lack of routine maintenance and unprofessional staff. We were heading to an event in Boston beginning at 8pm and didn't make it to the end of occasion until 11:15pm for an event that ended at 12mid night.
6. I believe we need to be compensated for our time and return our tickets. We were a large group of 10 passengers going to this family event and all are left feeling like we should never use Peter Pan services!
The bus was stopped in Washington more than 30min, when I got in and try to use the restroom, it was completely dirty. Why? Considering that it was the first trip? After the bus from Nyc to Boston was delayed almost 1h. I had a terrible experience in waiting in NYC. Station crowed, dirty, restroom impossible to use.
I left on a bus from DC and got stuck in Baltimore to have the driver just as confused as us in what the hell was going on, due to this delay I was late for my joining bus to Boston. Every employee I came into contact with were extremely helpful, however the organisation and communication within your company lacks
The staff is extremely unprofessional. Customer service was terrible. The New York stop had no order and was extremely disrespectful. I had a terrible experience traveling with greyhound.
2 hr delay from washington. 1 hr waiting in freezing cold outside. Missed the bus from new york to boston. No ticket available or arranged for the next bus. Extremely horrible experience. Will never take grayhound again.
