My take off time was smooth from Atlanta to DC. About 25 or more of us where abandon in Knoxville Bus station from 5:14am to 1:30pm without food, apology etc. Which I know your children Will not ever face such issue.
I am never riding Greyhound again. Every time I use their bus service I have a bad experience. This past weekend, my first bus to my destination only had two broken seats left so I had to ride for two hours consistently rocking. On my return ship the bus driver got into an argument with me after I offered my seat to an older lady that had to stand up because the bus was overbooked and he was going to make her sit on the steps. He eventually threatened to not move the bus because I stated that all the passengers who did not have a seat should receive a voucher. (There were approximately 5 people standing after paying for a seat, that's rediculous!) He then proceeded to make the older lady and her son sit on the steps and ride for 5+ hours. On the steps of the bus. By the door! When I arrived in Richmond for my transfer. My original bus departed after the driver and terminal employees failed to make an announcement. When the announcement was finally made, the bus had already left and we were given the wrong gate number. Also, when directed to another bus in the same direction, I was also given the wrong gate number. (There was clearly an issue with the system, I guess!) If it weren't for my new bus driver correcting the error, I would have missed my bus again. Overall, most of the the employees were rude and the managers on duty didn't seem to care about the quality of service.
