Donde estan las gatas?
Really bad. I’m still not in Santa Marta. Had to wait 4 hours on a street because the bus was broken
Bus broke down, arrived at Santa Marta at 3am when we was supposed to arrive at 11:40. Temperature on the bus also ridiculous, freezing for the whole journey, AC blasted. Then, AC stopped working and unbearably hot.
The seats had hardly any leg room, my knees were squished into the chair in front of me and I am very short (158cm). There was no dividing arm rest between chairs and the lady next to me kept laying against me and bumping into me all night so I couldn't sleep. There were no leg rests either.
4 hours late due traffic
Incredibly cold. Like painful cold. Be prepared to drive in a refrigerator!
Got here so all good
The app told me that my bus would be leaving from Terminal deposit Sur in Medellin. I got to the station an hour early to find the Express Brazilia office closed. Was told by other terminal staff that the office there is almost never open and that the bus to Santa Marta leaves from Medellin's northern terminal. I had to race to a terminal on the other side of town and almost missed my bus. Afterwards the bus made about 15 stops in the middle of the night while the drivers screamed at everyone to wake up just in case it was their station, so nobody slept. The bus was late because we stopped at a terminal on the way and all the bus drivers got out to get their shoes shined.
Received an email to say the bus left from terminal sur. I took a taxi to sur, but it actually left from norte, so i had to take another taxi to norte, costing an extra 20,000 cop. Only just made the bus on time. Poor communication.
No food, no water, 3 hours late.
We departed late. The bus broke down and we had to wait an hour whilst they were repairing it. We arrived at destination 4 hours late. When I asked for explanation they just said “oh weren’t you aware we had to take a different route”. Music blasting at 5am so I didn’t get much sleep either.
Absolutely horrible, the whole buss smelled off urine, was like winter wonderland in there everyone was freezing, didn't stop for food once during the 26 HOURS the 17 HOUR bus should have been, fucking horrible - worse bussride of my life.
My bus was supposed to arrive in Santa Marta at 1 PM. We did not arrive until 6. The bus never stopped for food or rest, only to allow hawkers on. Horrible experience.
The passenger on the seat next to me was disgusting and made sexual advances
We were supposed to leave the terminal 5 but we left 5:45. The urin smell was everywhere, of course not Brasilias fault but it contributed to our impression of the company. We had to change into another bus and we arrived 3 hours late. Some hostels don't have check in after 23:30, we were lucky.
The journey was mostly good but we seemed to wait for a long time in Barranquilla which added an extra hour onto the journey.
It was so cold in the bus, asked several times to turn the heat up. They did not wanted to do this, so I asked if we could get my bag pack for some warm clothes. They said no to me. So the cold was unbearable.
Hacia demasiado frio y la musica era muy alta!
When booking the bus a strong factor in the decision making process was the featured wifi. The bus although adequate in most other features did not live up to this, and a 19 hour bus ride without wifi was dissapointing to say the least
Bus driver drove abruptly, bus was 2.5h late to santa marta. Would recommend others to fly over bus any time
