Although the bus wasn't on time in Edmonton, the entire experience was enjoyable and went really smoothly. Most people wore their masks on the bus, there were frequent restroom stops, and the trip felt very safe.
I asked the operator from Saskatoon to move the screen shade up so we could see the road. He demurred. We sprained our necks to see the road. Not until the chauffeur from Vegreville took over.
I loved the “new” female driver. I went from Saskatoon to Edmonton. The drivers swapped in vegreville? Or vermilion? And the lady was so energetic and kind. She was so nice. I enjoyed her. And the Filipino? Driver he is still pleasant it was nice to see him again
They tried to switch drivers outside Elk Island in the middle of a snow storm and one of the drivers got his bus stuck in a ditch so we had to sit there and wait for an hour while they tried to "push" the bus out.
Good service, fair cost. My return trip we arrived 30 mins late. We left Edmonton around 12-15 mins late. People kept showing up right at departure time
Will use the service again!!
Would be nice if there was an office or something besides sidewalk-also the windows were so dirty couldn’t see out-I know the weather was not the best!!
Recommend this service!!!
Thanks
Bus broke down , no maintenance everything on this bus terrible the emergency window blew open and we had to wait for another bus on the highway the driver no communication and rude . Terrible trip
A confirmation was received 1 day prior to the trip, I was too confident that all is set. But when I arrived at the station, I was informed that my trip was cancelled and my name is nowhere to be found in your system. I had to buy a NEW ticket at my own expense. Disgusting and frustrating is what i got.
Will this comment suffice to call the attention of your management? Or I need to file a formal complaint. Please advise.
The only complaints I have are: 1. All the “10 minute” stops along the way. I think one of the stops should be 20 or 30 minutes so there is time to get a bathroom break and get something to eat since there are so many short stops making it a long trip. 2. This is a big one, the fact that there is no stop in Edmonton on the south side. I ended up with a $30 taxi ride home from the Edmonton Inn.
In any event, I’m glad I checked out what Rider Express is all about since I usually fly from Edmonton to Saskatoon and back.
When I come home to Saskatoon last week the driver leave the door open wide every time we stopped at bus stop about 5 to 7 mins long and some of the passengers stayed inside and freezing inside the bus..it is -20 that day
The staff was good. I think the 30 minutes break is unnecessary, and the break is not in a convenient location. I wanted to use the washroom but was lost.
amazing! the driver was very helpful and nice. I loved how they had wifi on the bus and checked everyone’s temperature. I felt very safe on the KCTI bus and am definitely going again.
I was comfortable riding in rider express they have free wifi outlet and washroom. If we lessen some stop or lessen the minutes of break so it wont take 7 hours of travel from sk to edmonton . But Everything is so convenient in the Bus.
Overall satisfied, bus was clean, had wifi bathroom was out of order tho. My email confirmation said I would be dropped off in Sherwood park so assuming that was the last stop I made arrangements to be picked up there, but the bus went all the way to Kingsway in Edmonton???
I like the fact that I received an email 24 hours prior to my trip as a reminder and including my ticket. There was lots of room on the bus and we had 3 breaks with plenty of time to go to the washroom and stretch our legs. The drivers were courteous and clear when they spoke.
The only thing missing was the place to put things on the bus. The other bus had a tray that pulled down and a netting on the seat in front that held either my book, iPad, or water bottle. It is not a big deal, but on a very full bus it helps to have that little extra space for things. I was lucky enough to have a seat mate who tolerated it when my purse fell into her space every so often when I was getting my lunch out of my bag. Otherwise things were perfect.
