Someone missed their stop so the bus driver turned around and drove 20 minutes backwards without telling the rest of the passengers what’s happening. I arrived to my final destination 30 minutes late & missed an event I was scheduled to be at
Everything was good. My only suggestion is to accept ticket on smartphone rather than asking for print copy. I reached toranto airport at 12.30 and had book ticket. From where can I print ticket? It is 2019 and still asking for print out is really dumb.
The bus broke down and the driver didn’t say anything for the first 1hr thn later he announced that the bus borke down and another bus will come in 5-10 min which came one hour late.
Greyhound is hit or miss but more often than not a miss. Sometimes buses are on time, sometimes staff are polite, helpful and generous, sometimes the wifi works...so I would recommend looking elsewhere for your travels.
The ride was great. I would recommend clearer signage for the bus numbers coordinated with the bus we are assigned being shown on screen of some sort to relive confusion.
There were no updates on the board, no workers at the Greyhound station, the staff were not empathetic to us after being 2 hours late and never apologized.
To Windsor -- Lined up at 12:01 (departure time) but arrived 15 minutes later. We left 15 minutes after that. But identified at "Western Mustangs" HUH!? Seats were barely comfortable. No seat belts. On other trips, there were seat belts. Arrived at London. Driver announced we were changing buses, would be in London 25 minutes. 35 minutes we were told to return to bus. Due in Windsor at 5:40. Arrived at 5:00. Now how did that happen?
Then on leaving Windsor, bus was scheduled for 3:00 pm, arrived at Windsor at 3:46, left at 4:pm. Bus was a little more comfortable, this bus not at rattly at the first trip. Arrived in Toronto at 8:50, I think. Anyway, very late. A fellow passenger said the bus was coming from Detroit and sometimes takes a long time at the border. Is it not possible to schedule this into the timing of the trip?
The driver scheduled to drive from London to Windsor never showed up. Passengers were left stranded and asked to wait 5 hours for the next bus with nowhere to go.
Overall good. The wifi on bus did not work about 45 min to London & thereafter as well. Last trip I made on 3/20/2019, it worked all the way to Windsor from Toronto.
I was very disappointed with my recent Greyhound trip. My bus was almost an hour late and I was close to missing my transfer. The bus smelled terrible and all of the staff members seemed very short tempered (mostly with others, not myself).
It was good to travel through grey hound but there were two things which for me are missing; first, issue as many tickets as many the seats are with seat numbers. Second, atleast make announcements if the bus is late or got some accident or which bus to board if to shift. It was a huge mess usually, whenever i used to travel.
Our bus was over 2 hours late, it was 2am getting into the city. Our bus driver decided to stop for some snacks and take his time. We were all so tired and just wanted to get home, some of us had been traveling the entire day. It was the worst travel experience and I will not be taking the greyhound ever again
