Very disappointed at the pickup location in kitchener, no signage, no bus shelter, thankfully a passenger going on a different bus pointed us in the right direction, across the street by the dumpsters we were told.
I am extremely disappointed because I had to wait in rain in bad weather for the bus and it was late and I got sick because of it . I am supposed to be enjoying my vacation instead m in bed sick with cold n cough . I need to be compensated for this .
Could have a map or better description of where to wait for the bus at the Kitchener 65 Sportsworld pick up. Was not easy to know where to wait for the bus as there are several other bus routes and stoped in the same area
It didn’t pick us up in Kitchener at #4 go bus spot as indicated. Rather across the street. Fortunately the passengers awaiting the bus were looking out for each other so we hustled over to the bus when waved over by a passenger.
Ride was good, I was somewhat uncertain about where I was to meet the bus. I had incorrectly thought is was at a different location about 200 metres away. Fortunately I saw the bus leaving, and was able to get the driver's attention and he picked me up. I wasn't late, I was new to Kitchener and not familiar with the area and the bus service.
While I arrived at my location on time I was very unhappy with my service. The bus driver called me an hour before (I was still asleep) to tell me the bus would be leaving 22 minutes earlier than my ticket said. I could have accommodated this had I been notified the night before, but given I am travelling and without a vehicle, I had to rely on Uber to get me there at the new time, which was virtually impossible as I was already 20 minutes away and had woken up in time for my ORIGINAL departure. I told the driver I’d be there as soon as I can but he proceeded to call when I hadn’t made it for the new 6:45 am time. Upon arrival I felt he was rude and “rushed” in a way that made me feel it was my fault, when really I arrived in plenty of time for when the bus was meant to leave. I was very unhappy with my experience all around.
Driver was unbelievably courteous and went out of his way to accomodate anything we needed while creating a sense of safety and security. (It was about 10:20pm). Having a sense of safety and security is paramount when traveling alone as a woman at night.
Continuously asked if we were ok or needed any thing.
Super efficient and safe driver. Very kind and friendly which added even more to the positive experience.
