Cruz del Sur is one of the best bus companies we have traveled so far. Good buses, very spacious, clean with good staff. Very organized and on time.
The bus was cancelled because of the protests but we were not contacted by the bus company about this and instead we had to pay for taxis to to go to the bus station and leave there, we should have been emailed in advance. Also the bus company never offered an alternative. Other routes are available and smaller vehicles can get through road blocks, but they did not offer any other type of service and many people have been stuck. They were not helpful with any information either
Recommended for traveling overnight! We even got a vegetarian meal! We had seats all the way in the back downstairs, very comfy and everything worked (usb charger, tv). It was very hot and moist during the night. Every once and a while it seemed they turned on the aircon and then it was freezing.

Very comfortable 180 degree seat! Lousy breakfast though, cannot be that hard arranging something a bit better. And no toilet paper, which is really bad.

Late departure. We arrived 3 hours later than expected. During the journey there was an accident with another car and it made me worrying about my safety and driver’s ability to do his job safely. No blankets were given. No info about wifi. Generally not happy with their service

The bus line itself was good, bus was clean and comfortable, left on time, staff was good. However, what was supposed to be at max a 12 hour ride, turned into 22 hours because of construction delays and an accident. We sat stopped in the middle of nowhere for hours and hours. It was a night bus so we didn’t bring food for an entire day and it was horrible. Don’t make my mistake, always bring a snack.
