Our experience was very disorganised and disappointing. Our bus left Vancouver 50 minutes late, the bus driver/s at the terminal didn't know which bus we were meant to get on nor did they know who was meant to be driving us. The check-in guy kept walking off when we were trying to check in which took over 5 attempts for our check in process. We had booked the express bus with only 1 stop along the way and then stopped 3-4 times to pick up additional passengers (as our trip had been combined with another route). It is very apparent that Rider Express is an extremely disorganised company with very poor communication to staff and customers.
The first driver was awesome. The second driver was really strict and made it seem like the riders were doing something bad while they were not. It felt like the bus driver was the strict principle in a highschool. Very not necessary.
The driver of our bus did a fantastic job in very trying and difficult conditions. I did not mind the delay, I felt that we were in very safe and careful hands all the way.
The lateness was weather related. We were kept informed. The staff were fantastic and the driver was very good. I will use the service again Thanks Ebus.
Ironically we chose Rider Express because they were the fastest route from vancouver to kamloops. Unfortunately the bus that was assigned to us had a faulty transmission - which delayed us in abbotsford for three hours (they waited 90 minutes before sending a replacement bus). Unfortunately the replacement bus had faulty windshield wiper, and so could not get us any further than merritt. The second replacement bus got us into kamloops at 7:00 PM, about five hours longer than our expected five hour trip. Caveat Emptor.
I mean There is not much that can be done about traffic as it's out of your control, the reason we were late was traffic, but service was good in every aspect
The bus was an hour and a half late arriving to Kamloops with no explanation from the bus driver. The arrival address printed on my ticket was incorrect.
Very happy with my first Ebus experience. A brief delay to begin with but still arrived on time. The driver was courteous and personable and had my full confidence.
I've never yet had a bad experience with ebus. All the drivers are kind. Today I was on a red ebus , it probably is so far the most comfy ride I've had . The seats were very cozy and the driver made the ride smooth .
I love the professional attitude showed by the driver. I'll love to ride with Ebus again. The WiFi network was just tripping off periodically but that is understandable when changing routes.
Both buses were late departing but made quite good time on the trip regardless. My biggest concern were the lack lustre safety measures as the omicron variant was rapidly spreading. Very few people wore masks on my trip back and the bus company has no vaccine mandate. While I understand they are implementing a mandate soon this is only because of government regulation, they took no action on their own.
The two bus drivers who were working for the 945-10pm arrival on the 26th to Kamloops were amazing. It was -28 and they let us wait in the bus for our arrivals and were so kind and understanding. I wasn’t planning on taking the eBus again but this trip changed my mind because the drivers went above and beyond.
