The bus was so cold at night and I saw the driver purposely turning the temperature down, he played 3 films all night really loud but when I looked round at everyone they just wanted to sleep. After this experience I will be using copetron
I was impressed with the excellent service and quality of the bus. The staff was excellent in running things smoothly. The service at Expreso Brasilia is better than some of the service on certain airlines. I was an international passenger and didn't know many of the stops so wasn't sure if I made it to my stop. Although providing earphones was very nice, I wasn't able to hear the sound of the movie. I did enjoy the tv screen. The wifi was not strong enough and would disconnect. Overall, the bus was clean and the seats were very comfortable.
The bus was meant to take 10 hours but took 18 and a half. As well as this the driving was very dangerous, i respect the fact the road and winding but i did not feel safe at all. There was also no water or loo roll in the loo which for such a long bus is not good service.
Bus was over 9 hours late arriving to the destination. Had to change buses at 2am but was happy to get off the first bus because it was crawling with cockroaches. Terrible driver made it impossible to sleep on the over 19-hour journey
The bus itself was fine, although it took approx 5 hours longer than expected according to our tickets and we weren’t told of the delay until we had 3 hours to go (by this stage we were already 2 hours behind schedule...). Also the bus was really cold.
I purposely booked my bus based on if it had wifi. The wifi didn’t work at all, so my 14 hour trip went by very slowly. The seats reaked of sweat and piss and for the whole trip there was this itenna on the outside of the bus banging very loudly the whole time and was very hard to get sleep. Wasn’t much communication between the bus driver and the passengers throughout the whole trip. Got there 20 mins before the planned arrival though.
The bus left 30 minutes late but that was fine. The driver started a very loud film soon after we departed so no one could sleep for the first two hours. Then he put a new film on again around 6am. I was right next to the speaker so it was unbelievably loud. Also it's so so cold. I was wearing a jumper, trousers, trainers and a big blanket but still freezing cold. Passengers who didn't have socks, jumper or a blanket couldn't sleep due to the cold. I was travelling with a group and everyone said the same.
The staff of Expreso Brasilia were great. The bus was comfortable, cold, and unfortunately had bugs crawling around in the back rows. No 14 hour ride is going to be 100% pleasant, but they seem to be a good company.
