CATA Internacional Santiago Mendoza recent customer reviews
Very comfortable seats. The bus was well driven and safe. The driver & attendant were freindly and helpful.
Fantastic comfortable bus. Friendly helpful staff. Thought confirmation email could have had choice of being in English as well that would have made it easier for us
What i enjoyed was the comfort.Didn't enjoy the smell of the cigarette on board of the bus.
According to customer reviews, some passengers enjoyed the films during their journey. However, there were complaints about rude and unhelpful drivers. In one instance, passengers were told that their luggage wouldn't fit in the bus and had to handle the issue themselves. Although space was eventually found for their luggage inside the bus, it wasn't taken care of by the driver.
Andesmar/Tramat/El Rápido Internacional Santiago Mendoza recent customer reviews
I was a bit disappointed with the bus trip from Santiago to Mendoza. The boarding was not well communicated, and their was no indication we actually had to present ourselves to the Andesmar counter first, as all our booking info showed Tramat. Much better instructions about the boarding is really needed. The terminal itself is pretty crowded and this can make it stressful. We had the downstairs premium seats and these were comfortable. The ticket indicated TV and A/C were available. Not that I wanted it, but TV wasn't available, and the A/C only seemed to work part of the time. It got up to 28°C inside for the middle 2 hours of the trip. 2 hour immigration stop not much fun, but not the bus's fault. Didn't enjoy being hassled for tips numerous times on the trip, and also pretty disappointed to see the driver/attendant throwing their rubbish out the window as we were driving. The scenery was good, but I would definitely fly next time.
Loved the comfort of the bus. Email could have been more helpful by telling us we needed to check in to get physical tickets from the Andemar kiosk before travelling.
It was super comfortable, very professional drivers, including the help on the Argentina border, we made it safe and on time to Mendoza. Really good experience

Unfortunately due to multiple factors, we arrived in Mendoza 4 hours after planned arrival time. This made the journey very unpleasant.
The bus was scheduled to leave at 09.00 but when collecting tickets at 08.15 we were told that it would be 09.30. It left promptly at 09.30. A 2 hour delay passing through border control, Argentina, meant we didn't arrive in Mendoza until 17.00. Very good drivers but no one could explain in English anything about the journey. We have to accept that languages are not our strong point but a printed note would have helped. Fantastic scenery, wouldn't wanted to have missed it.
Bus left 30 minutes late, but it was no problem , bus driver seemed nice , unfortunately for us we spoke no Spanish so was hard to understand the directions the were giving us . Maybe a tape in different languages would be benificial.

The bus wasn't there!! We were at the bus station at the time on the ticket. But the bus wasn't there, nether the company was open! There wasnt antes phone number to contact. We had to buy another ticket with other company
Bus was good, as was the food and drink they kindly provided. They were very helpful at the boarder from Chile to Argentina. Only thing is that the buses don't actually say Coitram so was a little hard to find!
