Bus from Ottawa, CA to Toronto: Tickets & Schedules

Outlets did not work, no wifi even though the booking said there would be, bus was very cold

The bus was clean and comfortable, however, it was really hard getting in and out of the bathroom because there is a seat in the back preventing the door from opening fully.

When we were picked up in Ottawa at the Gloucester Center at 7:40am the bus hadn’t be heated up beforehand. It was -15 C inside. When I asked the driver about the heat he said it wouldn’t warm up until we make it onto the highway an hour later. I was frozen solid until then it was very unpleasant. Please heat the bus before filling it with passengers!

Horrible was yelled at by the driver bus broke down and the constant stopping and starting in traffic making me sick

Excellent driving in poor weather. We would have liked Wifi. Having to change buses in Kingston was a negative.

The change of skedule late notice not on time of arrival in distination way too late, it affects my important skedule of meeting punctuality is a must follow thats what i rely on booking at first but changing it at a sudden moment will affects way too much of some one important skeduling of meeting for work or business matter.

The trip was somewhat ok. Leg room limited as i am tall. I think that Rider Express should give me a credit for the inconvenience on my return to Toronto on Sat, Dec 27, 2025, I didn't like that , I recvd notification approx 10 minutes b4 11.00 a.m. departure that the bus was delayed for 1 hr, then later on not leaving till 2 p.m. I could hv spent more quality time with fam instead of waiting around I'm a mall for 3 hrs. I'm a senior and didn't like having to travel that late at night. I had to take an Uber home from Union Station. I live close to an UP station and previously planned to take the train home. I sat on the driver's side 2nd row. He kept THROWING his coat on the back of the front row seat every time he got back on the bus, and that was many times since there quite a few stops. Almost in your face type of thing. I thought that was quite rude. He could have laid his coat on the seat, since the 2 seats behind him were EMPTY! I assume those 2 seats were reserved for his stuff.

Bus never showed after waiting 2 hours outside in the snow, no message of lateness or notice.

Pick up time was 30 minutes late and arrival time was over an hour late. Too many stops. Stops were not listed when purchasing tickets. Time spent on these stops was not considered in the travel time.

Bus was in bad quality. Timing was extremely bad. Bathroom didn’t close. Overall really bad experience

Did not enjoy that the bus had to pullover multiple times to check the doors functionality. The bathroom door on the bus was almost falling off. The bus was just not up to the standard I would expect.

The bus was at the stop early and loading went very smoothly. The driver was fantastic and I was so grateful for his duty of care and that he came in to work to cover someone who called in sick. We even arrived earlier than expected!

Ride was great. There was someone assisting the driving or auditing him. He was ridiculously rude to everyone on board.

Really bad. Experienced a 3 hour delay due to the bus breaking down half way and having to wait for a replacement bus

The picking and drop stops are so weird no one can find it easily but the bus service is very good

3 hours delay because of technical problem and no vouchers or refund or even Water!

Driver was courteous. Bus was clean. Seat was comfortable. Driver dealt with a passenger who had a medical emergency when disembarking for a time break in Kingston. Driver stayed calm, contacted emergency services and comforted victim until paramedics arrived. He also liaisoned with Starbuck staff as the emergency ended up on the restaurant property adjacent to the bus lay up at the Harvey’s. Driver kept us informed and as no was going to Scarborough Station or there were no scheduled pick ups, he was able to keep on time. Kudos to him.

Very spatious, charging station and very accommodative driver. Excellent service!

Departure and arrival were late, but it was mostly due to traffic, so I can't fault anyone for that. The driver did not come to the proper pickup location even though he ended up driving right by it to turn around once we were loaded. Even sitting in the middle of the bus, it smelled strongly like an outhouse whenever anyone used the toilet. The outlets and Wifi were non-functional.

smelled really bad because of the toilet and there was an hour delay which wasn’t necessarily the bus’ fault, but the driver pulled over to the side of the road on the highway which was a bit confusing and scary. Otherwise, the bus driver waited for late passengers which was nice and I liked the 20 minute break stop

There was a loose component on the bus that caused a banging sound whenever we were in motion. Lasted the whole ride

They cancelled my trip few hrs before my trip. And send me a message at 2:00 am rediculous

Our trip for 10:00 am was canceled at 2:00 am at night for „unforeseen circumstances“ so we had to scramble to find a new bus with a different company in the morning. Extremely short notice and no alternative trip or customer service available from the company. Extremely dissatisfied.
