I was unable to use my chareger as the electric socket was not working, only suggention is to before boarding the passangers team should check everything.
Driver was a very good driver, we were early to get into Edmonton. We didn't stop in red water. But there was some crying kids on the bus so driver probably didn't want to stop. Don't blame him.
Tiny seats, much too, too close together, and no leg room or bathroom. My seat belt didn't work either. Wifi was good but no plug ins.
Arrived 745 am with minus 20 degrees and Shell staff knew nothing about where to wait or put luggage. We took turns standing outside with 4 pieces of luggage.
The bus broke a belt and was stalled on Beacon Hill in Fort McMurray for almost 2 hours and we arrived in Edmonton at about 1 am (should have been there at 10:30 pm)
I couldn’t my seat belt. Last row is very congested to accommodate 5 passengers. Most terrible thing is location- office of cold shot in Edmonton is not close to any LRT station. I paid $18 for cab to reach nearest LRT station.
It was okay. I was expecting a larger coach style bus, it was a small shuttle style bus with a gas V8 3500 Chevrolet frame. The room in the shuttle is a bit small. I am a shorter guy with a wide frame, and I was also sitting by a wider framed gentleman and it was quite packed and uncomfortable. The driver was okay, there were a few moments in time on the icy/recently snowed on divided highway where he was attempting to pass a slower vehicle on the unplowed side and couldn't get enough speed to pass as he got sprayed with slush and snow. He also was heavy on the gas pedal and would drift/slide slightly on turns.
I still give five stars. There was an accident on the highway which is not the red arrow driver's fault at all he did an excellent job turning the bus around and taking an alternate route rather than us sitting on the highway. I think his name is Robert and he did a great job
Calling a cube van with seats a bus is misleading. The wifi did not work on either of my devices so I was not able to accomplish was I planned to on the five hour trip.
The customer service is very had I brought tickets online and I missed bus. I asked the to pay extra and use my ticket but the lady over the phone she is very rude. She can't even let me finished my talk. Still I have a question about my ticket no one answer 😔
It was so bad we got off the bus at the first stop and went to catch the red arrow bus instead. Unbearable. Cramped, crowded bus, squashed side by side. Super hot, no air conditioning, no open windows. Never again.
