So Old seat
Even though I booked the tickets which indicated that I wouldn’t have to change buses, yet I had to get off the bus and stay on the station with all my luggage.
I was told they could not print canadian tickets, and end up missing my bus because i had no ticket. Then was later given a ticket and had to take the public bus to new york. And figure it out myself.
The bus showed up late. While waiting for the bus I stepped away to use the bathroom and the bus left without me with my suitcase on it. They loaded my luggage on the bus without my permission and couldn’t contact the driver. How can a company not be able to contact its driver? Makes no sense. Now I’m hoping they haven’t lost my luggage.
On time departure and arrived earlier
It was terrible .At first the bus broke down and passengers were moved to another bus at 4 AM. Next it took enormously long time to reach destination causing to miss the connecting bus making to wait more than an hour at Toronto. Seat provided at NY was so bad with a metal clamp extending out making it miserable to sit all the way from NY to Toronto. The trip was a nightmare.
I am pregnant and had little help carrying my bags from point A to point B. One handle even broke from me in the process of lifting. A set of carts close to all the entrances would be good, so we can help ourselves. Also more helpful staff. plus the charging ports were not working on the bus. In the waiting area downstairs new york, there were a small amount of seats and I had to stand on my feet being pregnant for 1 hour. Then the bus let us off at 130 Elizabeth st instead of Bay street as written on the itinery and the walk to a seated area over at bay street with my baggages and my kids was impossible. I had to sit outside on the bags while waiting on my ride as I had no assistance to take the bags over.
No issues at all
Terrible I’ll never use it again. Period horrible experience. Filled with headaches.
I think there were too many stops
The bus due to leave Newark never arrived, that was the 5:40 bus. We had to take the 7.00 p.m bus, which make us late for the 7:30 bus from New York. The 8:45 bus was full,we had to change our tickets to the 12:15 a.m. Bus. We reached Toronto at 11:00 a.m.
It was my worst experience in this type of service. Bus arrived late, I saw how the guy in charge of the luggage was kicking it and broke one, when I arrive to NY from Newark the driver in the transfer bus told me I was lucky because I arrived late and he permitted me to get into the bus, when the issue was because of they delay. Returning from Toronto was the same situation, we left late, it was an old and ugly bus, we arrived very late to NY, a lot of disorder in logistics, in summary the worst service. Next time I prefer to pay a little more but receive at least a satisfactory service.
Don't take the bus that often, but was a good experience in general. Understand with traffic congestion, busses can be late.
Very smelly inside the bus and no wifi at all.
Smelly busses and very uncomfortable
We had to wait by 2 hours or more in Buffalo NY
The driver from Toronto to New York was rude and had little interest in providing a better passenger experience. He should learn how to talk with passengers and answer their concerns with patience.
No happy with the service and will never travel again with your company.
Very disappointed with the greyhound service. Bus was super delayed and no one told us that we may not make it to the next stop to catch the connecting bus. Super under staff, no one to ask for directions and help. Keep changing busses. Connecting many times with no indication or direction. This is my first and will be my last encounter with greyhound service. I will not recommend anyone to take greyhound.
Everything was good except the bathrooms are filthy. Could smell it all throughout the bus as well.
Completely unsatisfied and was a huge burden to my schedule
Drive was okay. It was specified as a bus ride with available WiFI but it didn't work unfortunately. Would have made the whole thing more enjoyable.
Bad smell, Dirty seats & floors. Dirty and smelly toilets. Electrical outlet did not work through out the trip even informed the driver to fix it. No detailed instructions for bus trip, i would have taken bus from New York city instead of Newark.
Very rude and nasty staff on the first bus from Newark to New York.
Overall good but washroom can be cleaner
oll buses bad look old end not comfortable
Very bad customer service from Toronto station and a racesess bust driver
I love everything about Greyhound, they keep to time and the drivers were. excellent.
