Bus from Cape Town to Grahamstown: Tickets & Schedules

Good trip friendly drivers , comfortable and safe . The only thing I wish for is that seat numbers are given on tickets so people can sit with they respective partners I was lucky that a friendly rider gave up his seat for me to sit next to my wife there are alot of people who are scared to travel alone or even sit alone anxiety is a real illness.. please I ask to assign seat numbers for passenger it will improve your service 10 fold

It was very horrible , the bus was too hot , the seats are too small and it's very uncomfortable to sleep

The service was terrible , considering Intercape’s reputation. Boarding in bus took an hour. a further delay occurred because a lady did not pay for her child’s ticket. The bus was deemed unfit to drive before we got to Worcester. We needed to change buses while it was storming outside. I’ve never experienced a bus delay from Cape Town cbd, and I don’t see why more bus chaperons are employed to sort out these issues and most importantly WHY ARE BUSES NOT INSPECTED BEFORE DEPARTURE ?!

I enjoyed the fact that there was a toilet (even though I didn’t use it) charging ports, air conditioning and the bus was clean. Seats were adjustable as well.

Worst bus service left the bus station early got stuck in Bellville and we had to be transferred to another bus when we got Mosel Bay and our bags we thrown on the floor during our transfer. The bus had no air conditioning. I was getting hot flashes through out the whole trip.

It was horrible. First of all I paid for my one old son a full amount of R700. Bus delayed for 10 hours we slept at The bus station. We were changed from one bus to another with our laugages and we arrived midnight the following day

Very bad service the bus was supposed to arrive at 7pm got in Cape Town at around 8:30 pm. It does not end the the bus got stuck in Riverdale. Book this bus at your own risk

Trip was overall good, drivers drive well, was close to an hour late but understandable, only negative, sat close to toilet and had strong urine smell

I enjoyed my trip with intercity express, the bus was on time and the drivers were very friendly

The worst bus experience ever. The bus was smelling through out, as we were approaching Caledon the bus started beeping and making sounds. We stopped at Caledon bus driver attended to the issue but bus was shaking all the way. 11km to Grahamstown bus stopped and driver had to fix something again and was asking for plastics, imagine! Temporal solutions and putting peoples lives at risk. Soze ndiphinde!

The bus was very late, and the seats on the bus were falling off

The bus was comfortable enough. It was also warm because of the AC, the drivers were kind and helpful. I can recommend to my family and friends.

The bus was very full then we had to change buses when we got to mosselbay, the second bus was not too full and the seats were comfortable then again in the morning when we got to Port elizabeth we were ordered to go back to the first bus. That was too boring.

The bus was two hours late. I missed a meeting. However, the drivers were very apologetic.

The trip was supposed to departure at 18h00 on a Delta Couch, but instead we were sent to APMWC and departed hour 15 minutes later and those guys were disorganized. I don't see myself booking their bus again

Office agents are not helpful, I had to look for a bus until someone called
