Firstly one of the drivers was very very rude, the seats of the bus were very small and uncomfortable they even had screws on the edges that ended up cutting the other old lady. Intercape busses are always late but my last trip was worse. I was traveling from Capetown to Mthatha with 8119 on the 6 arriving on the 7th. Drivers changed the route without communicating with us😢that made us even more late.
Honestly Citiliner plus has awesome drivers, yesterday on our way to UMtata we met radio presenters and were leaving the garage but the drivers insisted that we stop and take pictures which was wonderful experience. Really should keep those two drivers to drive the Cape Town- UMtata route. The old man I even saved his number tata wam wakwa Citiliner.
First of all the bus doesn’t have a toilet,Secondly I asked the driver if he could please stop nearby gas station for my kids to take a pee. He answered me in a rude manner , telling me to take a bottle so that they can urinate on it, I asked politely “How can a 8 year old girl child urinate on a bottle?” He told me to go sit down because he won’t stop the bus just because I’m telling him so. The driver made my journey very terrible. I wouldn’t even recommend Delta Couches to anyone,it’s really disgusting to hear such coming from an old man probably he’s a father too. I so wish he can also experience such treatment he gave me
Bus got stuck with licking fluids in the engine, ran out of radiator water, it arrived late in civic station, departed 2 hours late. I’m super dissatisfied. It lost its direction we had to make a U turn. I would love to get refunded, I’ll never use this bus service again. I’ll write my reviews on “hello Peter”as well to keep other peoples lives safe and punctual.
People going to I dutywa and Butterworth were not informed that the bus will not stop to offload! They had to go to Mthatha and that caused a commotion and one guy tried to fight with driver while the bus in motion. Our lives were in danger bcz of miscommunication.
I didn’t go because I am pregnant even on the requirements there was nothing stated about pregnancy and I had no proof with me. On your requirements documents please state that if someone is pregnant she must bring proof clinic card or a letter from the doctor stating the months. I was very hurt and annoyed when I was told that I can’t go.
I will never book any trip with them. The bus is we were riding on has expired permit and it was arrested for that. We had to go to wait for 2 hours for the other bus in the middle of the road at night. We were very disappointed and no one cared enough to update us what was happening until we had to go out and ask them.
