Very fast ride back home from Gainesville to Miami. Although I wish the bus would make frequent stops through Orlando on the turnpike instead of just the greyhound bus stations. The bathrooms there were horrible and hardly any food to purchase except the vending machine at the Miami station. I would say the bus ride itself was comfortable and relatively fast t
The bus from Orlando to Miami was more like a greyhound bus. I was expecting the comfortable RedCoach bus and ended up in a extremely noisy and uncomfortable bus. Also the bus was sold to an extend where Covid-19 could not have possibly cross anyone’s mind in management.
Not worth the price. WiFi has never worked on any RedCoach I’ve ridden, this particular bus was in bad shape and sounded like it would break down at any moment. Paid almost twice what a greyhound costs but barely noticed any difference in quality of ride. Only one break one hour in on the entire 9 hour journey—the least they could have done was tell us so we could get food at the first stop. Won’t make the mistake of booking with them again.
The booking confirmation says seating is not pre-assigned. Having boarded the bus first my boyfriend and I sat together only to be moved around in quite a dismissive and rude way by the Red Coach staff at the Orlando stop. She made us feel like we were in the wrong and stupid, to be honest.
Also the wi-fi did not work for the whole journey and upon reported the issue to the bus driver he shrugged his shoulders, followed by the same red coach staff member asking if we knew how to connect to wi-fi and if we were doing it right. It was a very unpleasant stop in Orlando because of the staff. It was an extremely long journey with no wi-fi as we are travelling here from abroad and don’t have local sims. Disappointed trip overall. First Class is overrated on red coach. Definitely not worth the money.
It was terrible; I am never riding on Greyhound ever again. I will never recommend it. The bus I was supposed to transfer to cancelled and nobody told us. I arrived to Miami over 6 hours than what I was originally supposed to. 6 hours worth of time and money. Also, hire some new bus drivers. Every staff working member was depressed, rude, and negligent.
The first driver did ugly. Not educated driver. On website they offered a bus with two lines of seats, but we had one of sides with one. Also the driver received two other passegers that we had a overbook.
The bus was delayed for 6 hours and we didn't really receive any information as to why the buses were delayed. Overall it was a horrible experience and I would recommend any other bus company available.
My ticket said one departure location, waited and had to call to only be told it was another location... only would have figured that out because I called. I missed my bus and had many many issues in regards to this. Was a very terrible first experience.
It was terrible. The bus rate is over priced $79 one way from gainesville to Miami. GMG is normally half if that. The bus stops in Orlando for 90 minutes for not sure what. Nothing to eat or do. And arrives late to Miami over one hour late
