It was so terrible so bad smell in bus
And drive was nonsense person with attitude and he was driving nonsense as well he even pumped the bus to truck as well and broke side mirror
My experience with Greyhound was terrible. The bus was 4hrs late and we got dropped off at Durban beach not at the station without any form of communication meanwhile it was the rain was pouring
The bus itself was fine.. I'm happy but I was very disappointed having to sit very far from my 4 year old son because the staff refused to make a plan for me. I was hurt the whole trip.my baby sitted with the strangers. He fell asleep n was really uncomfortable. If he was sitting with me I was going to ensure his comfort.Very disappointed n hurt
Very disappointed. Because my bus arrived late in Durban I missed my connecting bus from Durban to Richardsbay and because of the I lost out on my Bus fare of R485 and was left stranded in Durban without any support from InterCape. I then had to take a shuttle from Durban to Richardsbay that set me back R1750. Also the route taken of Ladybrand to Bethlehem is horrible and a danger to passengers and definitely a contributing factor on mechanical break downs.
The bus did not drop us off at the right destination. They refuse to drop us at beach front even though our tickets where clearly stating that destination.
We had to arrange w other transport and paid way abive three hundred rand where your bus was suppose to drop us.
I’m not happy with the bus. Me and the passengers were scared half the time and the driver was not telling us anything. He was randomly stopping and it was making scary sounds.
That was my biggest regret of my life booking a greyhound bus,my departure time was 00:50 the bus arrived 09:30 🙃.I'll never make that mistake again to book a greyhound bus they didn't give an explanation about the lateness of the bus.
Intercape has exceptionally poor quality control and service. Failure to clean the bus after the previous trip resulted in me entering an untidy bus. The bus experienced mechanical challenges which resulted in a 5 hour delay. Failure to service the bus resulted in mechanical failures that customers/passengers had to pay the price for. Itercape is a company that is exceptionally unprofessional and undermines their customers time.
Check the toilets before we depart if they are good for use cause that is why we reached Durban late because we had to stop in every garage to use their toilets and if ours was working, I am sure thay couldn't have happened
My bus trip to Bloemfontein was excellent and the driver was amazing, I recommend the driver any time but unfortunately the trip back to Durban was very unsatisfactory!
Yesterday was the worst experience. The bus was late. Driver was impatient. I left my R100 at a store because the driver was impatient and the bus literally left me, after parking for the shortest time, and I had to chase after it.
My first experience was not too good, we were supposed to leave at 7:10am for Durban but ended up leaving at 8:25am.the first bus was full and we had to wait in the queue. After some time we were told to go and board another bus that was stationary on the street. There was no driver. We stood there for more than 10 minutes and we were told to go back inside to another bus.. We sat waiting for the driver. I found that very disrespectful and unprofessional. They shouldn't Overbook if there is no clear planB.
Bus had problem as driver had to stop every now and then to restart it till we reach Melrose and air conditioning was a disaster it was a horrible experience infact we nearly got stuck in the middle of nowhere 😢
I think staff needs more training on how to treat clients. When we drove back from durban the driver of the bus 605 was very rude to one client and I thought that was very unnecessary. The driver who picked us up from the beach was very nice and we need jolly drivers like him.
The driver was very rude. Treated our luggage like trash being collected for dumping purposes. It was such a painful experience to watch. When approached spoken to with respect he replied with contemptuous comments. As for hygiene, it was never observed. The bus was crammed to full capacity from Wherever it came from, picking up passengers along the way whenever space appeared like a typical local taxi. There was no ventilation or extraction in the bus. It was suffocating.
