the bus was over 2 hours late which caused a huge inconvenience on top of having to wait outside in the cold after midnight which is not safe at all! customers should be informed if the bug is going to be late!
The bus arrived on time in bloem, however, the traffic made us an hour late. The staff performance was not the best, it was my first time using a bus, they did not inform passengers when we arrived at the destination, assuming everyone knows Joburg. As a result, I was dropped off at Midrand at 1am, whereas I should have arrived at 10 pm. All in all, the staff performance was horrible.
The bus arrived about 4 hours later and there was no updates or communication from the staff. When asked questions they gave really vague answers and seemed very much unbothered...not even by the fact that some of us were about to miss our interviews.
I will never ever use this service again. Eldo is the worst
If we book the eldo coaches bus we expect to ride an eldo coaches bus not the other bus which isn't eldo coaches, i don't understand how we book eldo coaches bus but at the end we ride a citiliner bus or what was it
The bus was arrived on time but we arrived late at our destination for other reasons. The on-board toilet was out of order but kept being used as we had one comfort break, it smelled terrible on board the bus, the strong smell of urine coupled with the heat was terrible. Even the staff kept using the out of order toilet, it smelled really terrible to me because my seat was directly in front of the toilet. A terrible trip to say the least.
Time keeping is the key base of customer service. Some customers may be impatient based on the the money they have plegded. So Intercape has to at least improve on " not keeping customers wait syndrome".
I will really like to thank the drivers of bus no 222 for managing the situation so well when the bus got stuck at kroonstad but however I so wish that intercape officials at Bloemfontein (tourism center office) would try to put passengers/clients first as they do not even take measures to communicate with passengers or keep them updated on any changes regarding their booking or trips. Overall I still say thanks to the drivers they actually gave good services under the circumstances.
