The drivers were very rude with no respect for passengers whatsoever. They pick up every person on the road for money. There is no control. The bus seats are too small. They stop wherever whenever. They even stopped to take the goat they hit on the road. They don't have the specific route. They reverse, make a u turn to ferry people on the road. I am disappointed.
The bus driver seemed inexperienced, everytime he was driving I felt like we were going to crash. Traveling with Intercape at night has always been a pleasurable experience for me until last night. It was really scary
Worst experience ever. The bus arrived 15 mins late, and due to admin errors we only left 2 hours later because they overbooked. The communication and mutual respect between bus staff and passengers got lost as everytime the bus stopped, passengers would get off (toilet and/or smoke breaks) which caused more delay. We stooped more times than necessary and turned back twice due to miscommunication between the staff. totally sucked
The bus was late in Bloemfontein and got broken along the way, were we stayed almost 2hours, but the bus that followed was hygiene clean and has the bathroom and it was early in Cape Town according to it time left Durban
The bus trip was standard. However since the tickets have no reserved seats it was difficult to find a place to sit on the bus especially since I was traveling with my family of six. sadly we were unable to sit together and we were forced to sit with strangers.
Dané was the only child on the bus. The driver and baggage handler were rude, unfriendly and insensitive.
They were 45minutes early in Bellville and while she was still busy searching for her baggage ticket, they just drove off.
On the 12hour route she did not leave the bus once, because she was worried that they will leave without her.
Language (communication) was a problem even in English.
I've always known intercape as one of the best, but now am disappointed very much to an extent of stopping to use it for good i had a return trip n it was also a disaster the stuff was mean and the aircon was too high we were freezing we had to keep asking for it to be turned off or reduced.
