Bus from East London to Port Elizabeth: Tickets & Timetables

The bus broke down and we had to wait hours I was supposed to arrive in Port Elizabeth 19h30 and arrive at 00:00

Worst travel experience of my life! We were late by almost 3 hours, I’m not even in the mood to get into details about their very subpar service!

5-star. I enjoyed it. The bus arrived in time at (2pm) at Windmill in East London. The coloured guy with gold tooth, his “oom”(the driver) with the cap and the other one were fantastic, they were friendly. We arrived in time. No delays. Charging pots underneath the seat ✅. I’d love to give it a try again on my next trip

The trip was pleasant, driving excellent, but the bus was 2 hours late, which meant that i had to really struggle to get an ehail taxi to get home when we got to the destination after 23h00.

The trip itself was good except the toilet was blocked and backed up - we were traveling with our young grandchildren aged 5 and 7 who had to sit all the way without using a toilet and no stops to use rest room facilities - that was a problem

The bus got delayed from Butterworth,there was no communication or whatsoever. We had to move around asking as the reception area was empty. I had to book another bus that was not late and was ready to leave. Very unprofessional service from Intercity

The bus was clean that I loved , but we arrived later than the set time in Port Elizabeth.

On the positive site the bus arrived on time. on the negative site the company needs to fix the bus seats. mine was loose completely detached from my seat which is very dangerous for my safety and had to find another seat since it kept on falling and mine was not the only one. secondly there are no tickets issued when luggage is stored so anyone can collect any bag when leaving the bus which is risky

Warning don’t even think about it the bus arrived 2hrs late and couldn’t wait anymore and when I asked for my refund they said no they will not and they were very proud and condescending about it and not even concerned about my inconvenience they coursed me, these people shouldn’t be in this industry they have ruined it and very unprofessional..

I felt really uncomfortable on the bus I was on. It was dirty and there were drunk people on board, don’t know whether the driver noticed or not. And they had alcohol on them. They were so loud

It was okay but i think it should have toilets because even when it stops to pick up people we can't go to the loo to relieve ourselves.

Eagle Liner is pathetic and unreliable. Would suggest that when your bus is broken down somewhere, please kindly notify your waiting passengers. Sms's and WhatsApp's do assist. Your drivers and office staff in East London office need to treat passengers with respect and dignity.

I enjoyed nothing, they have ridiculous laguage rates and besides that the bus was supposed to leave at 14h00 and they changed buses 3 times and ended up leaving at 16h00. I’ll never again book that bus and also the staff had no way of adressing the bus issues they just tell us to swap timeously!!! What a bad first experience with it!!

The bus was fine until we reach a stop in Nanaga and had to spend I think almost two hours thrs due to another bus broke down so those people decide our bus is not driving.

The time spent was a pure joy as the bus was extremely clean, searing comfortable and bus driver that was courteous to all. I will not doubt a second to travel in this comfort again.

As the 1st time iLulaBus passenger.I was panicking not not made aware via sms or call to passengers that the bus is running late not even an apology from driver.Riding a bus and not a taxi is supposed to be better comfort ride but with the loud music that the driver was playing it felt like a party bus so I would suggest slow limited volume and set times that calm music should be played as we can’t be shouting at each other talking because of the loudness.I’m disappointed as I asked twice for the music to be turned down but was ignored.

The bus did not come through at 05h45 to collect my daughter. We were at the collection point 05h30. At 05h50 bus driver called and then stated he was already 70km out of PE. We had to take our daughter back to EL. Require my R300 back!!

Worse bus service ever. Do not use!
