Bus arrived 3hours late,no explanation nor apology. I missed my connecting bus and had to buy a new ticket.Along the way they did bathroom breaks nonstop, sometimes stopping in the highway compromising our safety. It’s a waste of time, money and energy.I will never use the bus again.EVER
The bus was struggling on areas that are going up. When 120 km to Joburg bus started running out of water and heating until 90 km where it couldn't move anymore, we were then transferred to Citiliner to Joburg and after we were transferred to Greyhound to Pretoria
No air-conditioning it was too cold.. charging ports were not even working. Very disappointing from intercape I really rated them very high before this
The bus was not in a driveable condition and could only climb at speed below 10 km/h. It took more than 12hrs to journey from PE to Colesburg, where passengers had to wait for it to be fixed and that's the only time it's started to achieve normal speeds. However, the same engine issues started after Kroonstad. To stay awake all night, inside a 'skorokoro', without action and call a mechanic in the morning, shows that Greyhound doesn't care at all. Furthermore, the bus was late by more than 12hrs which is disappointing to say the least considering the price paid and I had to disembark in Joburg and hire a car as there are no taxis to Limpopo after 18h00. Greyhound should really pull their socks as I do not foresee booking this Bus anytime soon after this horrendous experience. I won't even encourage my family or anyone I know to use this Bus. 'Sorry' cannot be accepted.
The bus used a very long route, 21hrs instead of 18hrs. Arrived in Pretoria 09h40 instead of advertised 07h15. Resulting in me missing important meetjngs
The bus didn't leave at all , were still at the offices as I fill in this , the bus was supposed to leave at 4 . 9 hours later we're still waiting.
This is very unprofessional and a huge inconvenience for us who have places to be.
Worse experience because my kids had to sit at the bus station for more than 7 hours because the bus was broken. 8, 6 and 2 years old kids. They were supposed to arrive at 08:30 in the morning and they arrived at 19:00 at night. They were traveling on blunden coaches that didn't have a toilet. If there was a rating less than zero I was going to give the bus company that rating
As for Greyhound I will never recommend any one to use. We were freezing in the bus the whole night because didn't have heater. We were in - 3 degree just imagine
I don't like how the staff didn't help me when I asked which bus am I supposed to board till the leaving time. I was treated unjustly by the most of the passengers and the staff just stood there and did nothing.
I love Greyhound but I hate that we had to climb over to another bus in Johannesburg. We did and then we got onto Eldo Coaches and then we lost 1 bag and still no answer from them. Hate it when we have to jump over on another bus.
It was my first time travelling on a bus and intercape made it a good experience. Staff was kind and asked if everyone was on board every time before departing a “stop”. The AC worked perfectly and the bus was clean. Over all the trip was good the bus driver drove well.
It was mess n they change us to Apm in jhb and the bus dropped us on the way not inside the station so we have to walk with languages even though we paid full price
The trip was perfectly fine apart from the fact that thw two gentke men who were put passengers staff on the the bus made some of us pay in order for our things to be loaded on the bus and speaking from my side they wanted me to pay around R250 of which I EndEd UO paying R100 just for two suitcases and a Carrie bag sicne they wouldn't let me get on the bus and i thought maximum bags to loaded are twosuitcases just like with any other buses. I would highly appreciate your response on this one
I am very dissatisfied, besides it being on schedule, the seats are too small and not built for long distance making it a very uncomfortable trip, I couldn’t charge my phone, because 99% of the charging points weren’t working at all and that made the trip even more dreadful. I really expected my trip to be comfortable and convenient, can’t really recommend this bus to anyone.
Charging ports were not working my phones battery was low and i needed it to keep me company on the ride as well as needed it to be on to alert family of my arrival
Excellent service, extremely clean and tidy bus and seating. i did not personally travel by domestic lady travelled home and was very impressed. thanks.
