I didn't enjoy the trip, the trip that was supposed to be 16 hours trip took 22 hours. It is like a norm that most of the time intercape busses have break downs which took four hours for the mechanic to come and fix the bus 😭😭😭😭😭😭. I will never recommend intercape bus even to my worst enemy. The toilet as well was smelling from the time we entered the bus
Trip wasn't so bad if only the seat I was using was in a decent state of repair, the cushion of my seat was no longer attached so I kept on sliding backwards and forwards making it impossible to sleep
The bus broke down in Eastern Cape, we been here for hours. No help. We are still stuck here . bus has no ventilation I was vomiting all the way. Horrible experience
The fact that the bus broke down. I know it could not be foreseen, but please check the buses before sending them on the long road.
2. The bus wasn t very clean. There were insects crawling from under the window frames.
3. No plastic refuse bags either
There was no charging ports , I struggled to arrange delay with my transport and had to pay extra money. The broken bus had unpleasant passengers who were threatening to stop the bus from leaving because there were no more seats for people coming from the broken bus.
The driver Calvin took so good care of me, walked with me to the shop when we stopped. Very friendly and helpful. Im very thankful for him. I take my hat of for both the drivers, they are amazing and great in there job. Thank u again
Why do we book the tickets that shows that the bus will drop us in the station but when we get there the driver doesn't want to go in and we end up losing our baggage
I love traveling with Greyhound drivers are very friendly, on time and more organized in terms of handling our luggages and checking before departing any stops
The bus was overheating driver had to stop for more then 30 minutes.Drivers passed petrol stations where's we needed the toilet . Windows not opening .The heater was on and very warm.It was an uncomfortable journey.
The air conditioner should not be that freezing, we understand it can’t be hot for the sake of the driver but at the same time being it that cold for +- 18hours
Our bus overheated more than once and we're subjected to very hot interior Temps. A bus doesn't just start overheating like this one.
With not bring on time we didn't stop at proper facilities to forfil our dietary needs as would have been fine if we were on time and stopped at the normal stops.
I won't be using eagleliner/intercity again, as it was my first time, as I use usually Greyhound or interface sleepiness and never had an issue out of maybe 20 trips iv done return
It's a good bus, but the time of arriving at your destination is not always the same as they estimate. I'm late for my flight from Johannesburg to Kenya, as the bus went to stuck with us as passengers last night and is still driving with us, but we were supposed to 08:30 in Johannesburg already as the bus left Port Elizabeth yesterday 15:30
I was suppose to arrive in Jhb at 7:15 but I arrived at 10:00 I missed my interviews. The drivers picked a wrong passenger for no reason at Velkom then along the way we had to drive back and deliver that passenger to her bus to Dbn. The drivers did not inform us we just saw the bus turning. I felt like we were treated like kids.
I would never ever recommend this bus company to anyone else. my 14 hours trip this weekend turned into 50 hours trip literally. was in the bus from friday till today.
