Compare bus companies
According to customer reviews, the bus company provided helpful assistance with check-in and finding the bus. However, there were some negative aspects mentioned such as the longer than expected duration of the bus ride (26 hours instead of 22) and a lack of stops during the journey. This resulted in frustration among passengers until they were able to make a stop in the morning. Additionally, it was noted that although seats were comfortable, they weren't ideal for sleeping and there was excessive heat inside the bus.

The bus got really hot during the night. There were curtains deciding the seats. It gave us some privacy while sleeping.
My luggage was loaded onto the wrong bus. It was pure luck I noticed it had been placed on a bus going to a completely different destination. I managed to rescue my rucksack, meanwhile the staff laughed
They really helped me with checking in and finding the bus. What I didn’t liked was that the bus ride was 26 hours instead of 22. There were no stops. Eventually people got angry and we could stop in the morning.
According to 90 reviews, Cruz del Sur received a 4.2-star rating for this journey. Travelers were especially satisfied with the timeliness and the seats, but some complained about the wifi. Cruz del Sur ticket prices on this trip start at $50.00

We arrived at the terminal early but was able to check our bags in. We left on time, was served a delicious dinner of rice with beef patty and side of vegetables as well as a small breakfast. The seats were very comfortable and the temperature was great. We were provided with a pillow and blanket. Overall it was a great and safe experience. I’m glad I went this route to get to Cuzco. Remember to bring own headphones for the onboard entertainment.
Can't fault the service, the staff or the coach. Would recommend for value and comfort.
Cruz del Sur is not one of the cheapest bus companies. But the service they offer to their clients is one with a lot of comfort.
According to 20 reviews, Oltursa received a 3.5-star rating for this journey. Travelers were especially satisfied with the seats and the departure location, but some complained about the wifi. Oltursa ticket prices on this trip start at $44.00

Bus ran on time, seats were comfortable. Only negative would be the lack of Wi-Fi (which it stated when booking)
My experience was great. I’m not very fluent in Spanish at the moment. So it was very reassuring when staff was bilingual. Now that may not always be the case but in my scenario it helped tremendously. The bus ride itself is very comfortable. Equipped with reclining seats and lcd screens to watch movies on your ride. As well as having an on-deck restroom, you’ll surely ride in comfort. Departure and arrival times are accurate, in fact I think we arrived earlier than our intended arrival. The only problem I experienced was a lack of onboard Wi-Fi. But other than that no complaints.
We booket online and chose our seats in front, but when we arrived our seats were in the back

The biggest complaint and problem was the bathroom. For a 22 hour bus trip and first class bus, the cleanliness and quality of the toilet needs attention and improvement. The service was excellent from Valeria.
Excellent service. We didn’t realize that the seats up top which cost a bit extra had more room and personal entertainment, next time we will buy the top deck tickets for sure. Bus bathroom did get a bit dirty but otherwise for a 22hr hour bus amazing!
Everything was fine. But the lady didnt want to gave us the WiFi password?! And maybe give the passengers 2 times the oppurtunities to go out the bus. 21 hours sitting is quite long.
